Ben & Jerry’s Sagrada Família — Restaurant in Barcelona

Poor experience.

Went in with full intentions to buy an ice cream but decided to use the toilets first (so that we weren’t bringing ice cream into the toilet). When we were stopped by a server who stopped serving a customer to ask us if we were buying anything….

Used the toilets which weren’t particularly clean, there was no toilet roll and there was repairs needed (such as the toilet roll holder, which was hanging off). There was also no soap in the dispenser.

When we ordered, there was a large choice of ice creams which all sounded delicious, however 7 euros for 2 scoops of ice cream is rather steep.

When it came to payment, another server used the card machine, put it in front of us and turned away to have a conversation with his colleague. We waited for him to say the payment had gone through, but he never turned back to us, so we left.

The ice cream was delicious, as it is Ben and Jerry’s after all, you know what you’re getting, however the service was really poor. I’d encourage supporting local small gelato businesses over this franchise -...

UPDATE* Please note that I no longer use a Fenix 3 and no longer have the time to maintain and upgrade this app. Sorry for this and thanks to everyone who posted feedback over time, I built this app for my own needs and I was quite surprised to see that it was useful to quite a few people! On launch, the widget will first aquire GPS signal after which it will display the current latitude and longitude (in either degrees/minutes/seconds, decimal degrees or MGRS format - pls choose the format you prefer by pressing [Menu] while the widget is active), the current altitude (in meters or feet depending on user settings), the current speed (in km/h or mph depending on user settings), the current heading (in degree and cardinal points format), the current time (hours, minutes, seconds), the timezone (offset from UTC in hours), whether Daylight Saving Time (DST) applies for the current timezone and the GPS signal strength (on a scale from 1 to 4, 1=no gps signal, 2=poor signal, 3=usable signal,...

This was my first ever visit to a Ben and Jerry’s and it was the best experience EVER! And i would like to personally say thank you to Damy and Jason. Damy was so patient and kind as she let me try many flavors and even recommended some to me. She was very sweet and provided the best customer service I have ever experienced in any restaurant. Jason was also nice and very funny. He too was also very welcoming and kind. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything was so clean and organized. I also really loved the outdoor seating area! I am truly glad to have been able to experience Ben and Jerry’s here in Barcelona for my first time. And most of all, thank you Damy and Jason.
