Casa Fidel — Restaurant in Barcelona

Wow! thanks, Seatle now Barcelona local Todd for introducing me to a real locals cafe bar with the best street life views in Barcelona.

Great value food, super reasonably priced and fresh. This is not gourmet or Michelin, nor should it be - its real food for real people and at the price point is 5*++ €13 for the menu del dia - great starters and mains.

So good went back for breakfast - 2 coffees, 2 beers, 3x bikini sandwiches (toasted ham, cheese, with extra fried huevo, tomate,...

Cute little bar/cafe on the way to the "centre" of town. Extremely well priced coffee.

We dived into the place when we got hit by heavy rain and stayed for a couple of coffee's.

The staff were nice and the coffee was very cheap. I would have had a beer but it was too early but I'm sure it would have been just as well priced.

They also had the biggest TV I've seen, so if they ever play sports on it...

Friendly staff and overall the food is decent - but they refuse to serve fresh french fries, always they give me limp, cold fries, and always I complain, and always they pretend I am crazy and that nobody else complains... so if you order fries - you have...
