La Forchetta — Restaurant in Barcelona

We arrived around 15h and first nobody was even looking at us. When a table got free we asked one of the waiters passing by if we can take it. He said one moment and disappeared and nothing happened. After a few minutes we asked a different waiter if we could take that table. We were 2 adults, 2 children and a baby in a push chair. He said no as the table was for 6 or even 8 people ( the family getting up from the table were 4) and they need it in case a big group comes. We should wait around 5 minutes until a smaller table was empty. This was very annoying as there was just a big group leaving a table for 8-10 people and looking at the time it was quite unlikely that 2 groups would appear now. We waited another 10 minutes and finally could sit down at a small table. The waitress was really nice and we ordered straight away pasta for the kids to get their food as quickly as possible. And it arrived quite quick indeed. My husband wanted to order steak but the waitress told us it would need a while and as we didn't want the children being finished when we start eating he decided to have lasagna instead and I ordered gnocchi and the typical Caprese. But it got worse. The children were finished long time until our food finally got served. It took more than half hour. The gnocchis were unfortunately overcooked band without any flavor and the tomato of the Caprese cut in very thin slices so acidic that I couldn't eat it. I regretted that I didn't order the Bruschetta which they had on the table beside ours which at least looked good. My husband said his Lasagne was ok and I also tried the children's pasta with Bolognese sauce and it was good. A real shame as we had been to the restaurant a few years ago and had great food. So all in all the food/waiting time was medium-low and the service was bad beside our waitress, another family came after us and was also ignored when they entered, and of course there was not even one big group coming and the two tables...

If you want a once in a lifetime, 360 experience, of feeling like you’ve massacred a whole Spanish village full of monumental and influential, political and historical people, make sure to visit this poor excuse for a restaurant. If you want to experience real time travel, eat at this place! You’ll end up ageing 10 years once you’ve finally been served. The food is good but one of the waitresses was carrying the weight of the whole business on her back, although still never spoke one word to us. Felt like the place had a slight hatred for anyone who was foreign, which is of course not ideal when your business is in the centre of a tourist spot. We were made to feel incompetent as we didn’t know the menu was infact accessed via a very discreet QR code in the corner of the table mat. We endured an additional 20 minutes wait to order, on a quiet evening. We then waited 25 minutes for the bill, to be told you go to the bar to pay, after being told to wait for them to bring it to us. Confusing and honestly could’ve/should’ve walked out. Best to...

El Restaurant La Forchetta és un lloc fantàstic per a aquells que busquen una autèntica experiència italiana a Marina. Des que vas entrar al local, t'adones que estàs en un lloc especial. El seu ambient acollidor i la decoració càlida i agradable et fan sentir com si estiguessis a Itàlia.

La Forchetta ofereix una amplia selecció de plats típics de la cuina italiana, tots preparats amb ingredients frescos i de qualitat. Els seus plats són autèntics i estan preparats amb gran cura i atenció als detalls. Des de les delicioses pizzes fins a les delicioses pasta fresca, tot està deliciós.

El servei del restaurant és excel·lent. Els cambrers són amables, professionals i estan sempre disposats a ajudar-te en tot el que necessitis. La seva atenció als detalls i el seu coneixement dels plats i els vins fan que la teva visita sigui encara més agradable. La Forchetta també té una àmplia selecció de vins italians de gran qualitat que acompanyen perfectament els seus plats.

Durant la meva visita, vaig tenir l'oportunitat de provar diferents plats del menú i tots van ser excepcionals. Les pizzes eren perfectament cruixents i plenes de sabor, la pasta fresca era deliciosa i els plats de carn eren suculents i plens de sabor. També van oferir-nos alguns antipasti per començar, que estaven deliciosos i ens van fer oblidar que esperàvem els nostres plats.

El restaurant té una terrassa molt agradable, perfecta per gaudir d'una bona nit d'estiu a Marina. La terrassa està decorada amb llums de colors i plantes, creant una atmosfera relaxada i agradable. També té un petit parc infantil, ideal per a les famílies que volen gaudir d'una nit de menjar en companyia dels seus fills.

En resum, el Restaurant La Forchetta és una excel·lent opció per als amants de la cuina italiana a Marina. El seu menú deliciós, el servei excel·lent i l'ambient acollidor fan que sigui un lloc que val la pena visitar. Si esteu buscant una autèntica experiència italiana, no dubteu a visitar...
