Was looking forward to coming here and was the first place that came to mind when my partner said "let's have mexican", since I had seen multiple videos online about the place and the reviews looked pretty good.

Arrived. Sat down. The three staff all saw us come in and even said hello. Not another word was said to us for 10 minutes. Finally I went to order up front and was told that no, they'll go and take my order. Cue another wait, this time five minutes.

Fifteen minutes was more than enough time to know what we wanted to order. Two quesadillas and a burrito. Along came another fifteen minute wait for our three items to be ready and on our table.

The burrito: 9,50€ for a 5cm in diametre, and 15cm long burrito that only contains four ingredients, your protein option, guacamole, cheese, and the tortilla (which was actually very nice). If you're craving a burrito in Barcelona, go to a place called "Burritos", certified bangers that you fill to the brim with anything you like.

The quesadilla: Looks at other user's pictures of a taco. Imagine that open flat. Take away the toppings. Add some cheese. Voilá. 4€ for what's essentially a taco (same sized tortilla) without the toppings, but with cheese. Very dry. Saving grace was, yet again, the tortilla.

The sauces: Was not brought out any sauces with our food. I asked a waitress if we could have some sauce (for our bland meal) who then informed me that they didn't actually have more sauce for our table. I must have stared at her for ten seconds before she said she only has the "habanero" sauce left and warned me that it's very spicy. I like spicy food a lot so I got my hopes up. How naive. I've felt more heat from a brisk winter breeze. What's on the menu as the "hottest" sauce wouldn't even faze the lips of a newborn baby.

It seems that people give this place high reviews for vegan options and being dog-friendly but I don't ever remember that being more important than a restaurant just having tasty food and friendly, fast service.

I wonder if would've had a different experience if I had got the unlimited taco buffet, but I guess I'll never find out.

If this place only sold their corn tortillas I would...

So sad. We wanted to love this place. Especially being Mexican and living in Catalonia. First of all it wasn’t clear the options when it comes to the buffet so we missed the time. And we got the margarita special, but obviously the second ones were practically missing any kind of alcohol. The tacos were good, the meat was really good, sadly they got confused when I ordered “AL pastor” which should have been my first clue. Then when they served my tacos without lemon or lime… but I still gave them a chance with some high hopes… then the 10€ baby burrito came out. Seriously? It was smaller than a child’s bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell. And just cheese and meat? No arroz, no crema, no cebolla, no cilantro, ni frijoles… nada! My chicana heart dropped to see what we paid for. I wish I could say we will be back, maybe another location is better? Super disappointing, if you know Mexican food or Chicano food… skip this place. We sat outside and the corner spot is lovely, inside looks cute, but wish they spent as much time on the decor as they did on the portions and quality by Mexican standards....

ACTUALIZACIÓN 23/10/2023

La situación empeor cuando (visiblemente debajo de esta reseña) habéis falsamente mostrado que os queríais poner en contacto conmigo. Os envié un email a la dirección que ofrecisteis el dia 18/10/2023 y no he recibido respuesta ninguna todavía por vuestra parte. Lo que demuestra que vuestro mensaje es únicamente para dar buena imagen en la reseña conforme vuestra "intencion" de solucionar el problema.

DELINCUENTES. Tuvimos que llamar a la policía.

No tiene otro nombre, de entrada aunque pone que aceptan reservas, es mentira, cómo mínimo reservan mesas de 4 personas.

Respecto al servicio, como ya han destacado otros en sus reseñas, es lento y pobre, muestran poco interés por el cliente que tienen sentado en su casa y tuvimos que levantarnos dos veces a barra para que nos hicieran caso.

La bebida es cara, cosa comprensible dado que ofrecen un buffet libre de tacos. Pero la oferta de cerveza a 1€ brilla por su ausencia.

Respecto a la comida, los nachos estaban duros y secos y eran incomodos de comer. Los tacos de ternera se debían llamar así seguramente debido al grosor de los trozos de ternera del relleno, que eran duros y secos. Te pasas media noche masticando. A parte de que en la segunda ronda repetimos algunos tacos y los topping eran diferentes a la anterior.

Las salsas, son más un triturado de verdura con pimientos picantes que una salsa al uso y de sabor muy tenue.

Y aquí empieza el festival. Al encontrarnos con esto y la salsa habanera nos sentó algo mal (tuvimos que ir los dos al baño del restaurante el cual tiene una puerta reventada, y la otra sin pestillo) pedimos la cuenta y que nos pusieran la comida para llevar. En la oferta de buffet indicaba que se pagaría un suplemento por desperdicio de comida por lo que decidimos asumirlo y pedir que nos lo pusieran para llevar.

Cual es nuestra sorpresa cuando nos dicen que no nos lo pueden poner a llevar puesto que forma parte de buffet y en buffet no se hace, lo cual, no solo es mentira, sino desde junio y debido la Ley de Prevención de las Pérdidas y el Desperdicio Alimentario, es ilegal. Así se lo comunicamos a la camarera la cual nos muestra su indiferencia. Por lo que me dispongo a pagar y a pedir la hoja de reclamaciones.

SU RESPUESTA ES QUE NO TIENEN HOJA DE RECLAMACIONES, que les ponga una reseña en Google.

Vista la situación llamamos a la Policía con tal de ejercer nuestro derecho como consumidores la cual nos ha recomendado que podemos hacer la reclamacion telemáticamente en Oficina de Consumo, proceso que ya hemos iniciado.

Comida mediocre, servicio pesimo, e incumplen a normativa vigente para constatarlo. Así yo tambien abro un restaurante. No...
