Our last night in Barcelona, and we came to this place terrace bar/restaurant after our Flamenco show to end our trip. Let me say I wish we didn't. Our server was nice to begin with, everything was going fine until the cocktails came out. I took a sip of my Margarita and it was beyond sour. My girlfriend took a sip of her Hugo Spritz and we both could taste how cheap the champagne tasted. For the margarita I felt like I was eating 10 sour candies at once with my second sip. I asked the server if I could exchange it or send it back and after explaining to him how sour it was he took it back and brought back the same one just less sour. I still wasn't enjoying it as it was still sour and so I just said to myself It wasn't a big deal, and continued to enjoy the night. This is where my bad review comes, I can tell my waiters mood had completely changed. After finishing our Burrata and Tomato Bread which was delicious I was ready to call it a night not wanting to try a different cocktail instead. When it came time for the bill he saw me wave for him a couple times and he simply said 3 different times "wait". I almost walked out of that place. Trust me we were patient waiting 10 minutes at least. He would attend different tables with smiles, and every time he saw me would hold up his hand and say "wait". Very rude. I know I'm a tourist. I know you think I'm probably impatient & hi maintenance for not liking my margarita but the way that waiter treated me was disrespectful. Keep in mind this was the only bad review for the 12 other reviews I'm leaving here in 5 day long Barcelona trip, so I did not enjoy writing this,...

Attended Cercle on Christmas Eve for 7pm. We didn’t have reservations yet was able to be sat outside on the Terrace overlooking the courtyard upon arrival. Highly recommended sitting outside for the best experience.
The service was good and our waiter was helpful with questions we had regarding particular dishes on the menu.
Started the night off with cocktails. 2 Moscow mules, which were delicious. We also began our eating experience with chicken and ham croquettas. I personally preferred the ham over the chicken.
For our main course: the lamb shoulder and pasta with bolognese sauce. The lamb was super soft, sliding right off the bone. Covered in caramelized onions, this dish is highly recommended!
The pasta was more of “Al-dente” and the bolognese was sweet and delicious! Another great choice.
They also have great dessert choices but we elected to take a walk around town on the holiday to seek elsewhere.
Overall the ambiance was amazing along with some surprising music from local street musicians playing below. It was chilly but the location also has fire lanterns burning to keep the outdoor seating warm and cozy.
The food was delicious and worth every bite. Price point on the higher side but your paying for location and experience. Quality spot for a...
Read moreWas there for my wedding anniversary. We would have liked to sit in the terrace but the weather was unstable... So we were given a table in the corner. It felt a little but like a service room. The staff was extremely friendly and professional, really nice, and spoke both English and Spanish. Five stars to the waiters. As for the food... The millefeuille was one of the best millefeuille I have ever had. The tapas were just fine. As a main course, my husband took a very tasty octopus, while I took the entrecote. I honestly don't think it was fresh because I couldn't finish it (I lost my appetite... Maybe my body understood something was off about the meat) and after dinner while having a walk I started feeling bad... I ended up having the strongest stomach ache, nausea and other unpleasant symptoms indicating food poisoning. Needless to say,my wedding anniversary night did not continue as planned... I almost could not sleed and had terrible cramps all night (husband didn't try the meat and was OK). Only in the next morning I started feeling OK. I would prefer not to think the meat wasn't fresh... In a place like this, with quite high pricing, one always expects to be served fresh products. I most certainly will not come back... Which is really a pity because I could kill for that...
