Daniel cafè Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

We've been at this cafe several times and most of the times the service quality was not good... there are 4 staff members, two guys and two girls. The service in the morning is very slow compared with their competitors (Tartine and Fornet). Most of the office personnel as myself, has around 15/20 minutes to have breakfast and if you do not have a quick staff, this break time is not enough. This was the case in one of our visits that one of my colleagues had to walk away without having breakfast as they took more than 20 minutes preparing a sandwich. When we informed the waitress about this incident she provided us with a free coffee and some small muffins to compensate this delay... Unfortunately the error was already been made and our colleague was not able to enjoy her breakfast time correctly. The other (BIG) problem about this cafe is the cashier girl... she is NEVER in a good mood and is NOT EMPATHIC at all with the customers. It's very clear that this person doesn't like her job and would prefer if we were not giving her things to do... It's frustrating to go to pay and have this disgusted feeling. I always avoid going there when she is working. Daniel is the Chef and his food is nice, unfortunately, with this bad customer service, the food is not enough to think about...

I went there for a dessert during my lunchtime as I work nearby. I ordered a coffee and a piece of cheesecake. Then I was waiting to be served for a while. A waitress came with the cheesecake I ordered and she was considering which table she can LET me sit even though there were many tables available. She pointed a table and said that I can sit here but only for 5 mins. I said that if I knew that earlier, I wouldn't have ordered. But she didn't behave like she is sorry. She behaved like its my fault to come here to order dessert during lunchtime. I understand that could happen. But the way she treated me was so rude and I felt discriminated. I dont want to go back to this place again where Nazi works and never recommend this place to my coworkers either. The guy who works at bar was kind tho. Anyways when I came out of this place, there were still many...

I go here daily for that morning boost of caffiene; the staff are friendly and the food and drinks on offer are very nice.

You're not going to get a Satrbucks-sized coffee here, but the stuff they use is good quality.

They have a good menu for breakfast and lunch, to have in or takeaway, and they often have "after-work" nights, usually on a Wednesday, with a small band or musican playing live in the corner while you have some tapas and...
