Kibo Brunch Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

We stopped here for a quick brunch. My girlfriend ordered eggs Benedict and I ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich.

My girlfriend enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The sauce was rich & creamy. The eggs were well poached with fluffy whites and the yolk was runny/golden as it should be.

The chicken club was great! The chicken had been cut thinly and lightly fried on the outside which gave it a nice flavor and texture that I hadn't experienced in a chicken club before. The bacon was less fatty than I typically have in the US and the other ingredients were fresh and tasty.

The surprising standouts were the potato "chips". They were cut somewhere between super thick chips and thin half medallions you might see served with dinner. The thin slice allowed for a nice crunchiness that was more than a typical fry but less than a typical chip. Loved this.

Absolutely adore this place. My friend and I stayed nearby for 13 days and out of those 13 days, we dined here 10 times no exaggeration. It became apart of our routine and we truly looked forward to starting our day here every morning.

We shamelessly ordered more or less the same items over and over— the yogurt bowl, caprese benedict, patatas bravas, and the quality or presentation of the dishes never once wavered, regardless of the time, day, or how busy it was. We always said we would explore the rest of the menu, especially when seeing our neighboring tables’ orders look soooo good (the milkshakes?!!), but our choices eventually became our ritual.

Lastly, we loved the service. We typically had the same servers, cutie patootie #1 (Danny) and cutie patootie #2 (Micky), and they truly were the cherries on top in addition...

I tried this place for the first time due the previously evaluations...

The arrival was nice, the girl was very carismatic and I request some shrimps with noodles and hot sauce that was great and coul be better with the sauce aside.

The two star is because after I requested the second dish I waited almost one hour for a meat that, after all this time, came cold.

I spended two days to write this review, to know exactly how I was a feeling about and my decepion was being the first to arrive and the last to receive the order after all the other people has finished to eat.

How a place can forget a customer like that?

I think that was a problem in the kitchen because a saw the attendant asking time many tine for the dish...
