Everything we ordered was amazing. The melanzane alla parmigiana was fresh out of the oven and so tasty. The ravioli di zucca e parmigiano was also very good, and a decent portion size as far as ravioli goes. They were sadly out of coulant di pistacchio by the time we got to dessert, but the gelato di pistacchio was a good second choice. We ordered a bottle of wine (I do have to say that the wine prices were unfortunately quite high for Spain), but the cocktails looked really fun and good and will definitely be trying one next time. My only negative comment would be that our table was in a very busy and very narrow passageway with lots of servers passing through with full trays and lots of customers passing through to get to the bathroom. It was distracting and a bit uncomfortable with people almost touching our table, or lining up to wait for someone to pass through going the other way, because it was so narrow. Next time I would request a table in one of the bigger dining areas, or simply not in the passageway by the bathroom. Otherwise a very cool space.

Good food but bad service. I happened to be the only solo table, the only asian and the only who didn't order a drink. So no appetizer while waiting for my food, no introducing of my food, no question if i finish or not and want bill, not even a thank you after I pay. The madame who was serving me clearly didn't like me. Because she was offering those services to every table around me. I ordered a main dish and a dessert but didn't want to pay for water and didn't want any other drink so i didn't order one. I don't know which of these reasons makes her doesn't like me but there's clearly a discrimination in how i was treated compared to other clients. She put the bill on my table without saying anything. Using single word "copy?" To ask if i want a copy of my receipt, then walk away without saying anything when i said no need and thank you. Is the food good? Yes. Is it good enough to excuse the discrimination in service? No. Does it make me angry? Yes. Do i recommend the restaurant? No. P.S I edited to remove 1 star because apparently i'm not the only one who suffered the bad treatment. My only bad experience in Barcelona and Spain to be honest.

Wow! Love this restaurant, the food, the vibe, the staff. It’s all just amazing. Fantastic dining experience and our four visits to Luigi’s certainly did not disappoint. Service is superb and the staff were too. On first arrival in Barcelona we looked for a restaurant close to where we were staying, with great reviews. We chose Luigi’s at Via Laietana, 41, 08003 Barcelona. That was a great choice! The pasta dishes, pizzas, and salads were delicious. And the panna cotta the best we’ve had. We kept going back as we loved the food and the vibe so much. We looked at some other restaurants and walked away. But the moment we walked into Luigi’s it was just right. The decor, vibe, food, and service all brilliant. This is a very popular and busy restaurant so it is best to make a reservation. On our next visit to Barcelona we will stay longer, we will return and also try the other Luigi restaurants.

I was invited to this place for dinner by my partner because we normally pass in front of it and it looks nice, the food quality was good I ordered some seafood pasta which was really nice, lacked a bit of salt for my like but over all pretty good. my partner ordered a pizza which tasted really good to be honest. I would say quality price I would spec at least some bread with the sea food plate or olives to be offered as staters for a restaurant in Spain. I went there late night and is understandable that restaurants are not in great shape when is two hours before closing but there was a lot of dirt on the floor close to the cash machine. On another room water started to drop from the roof, hope they fix it soon. Over all I give it 4 stars because of food quality and the good looking place, the people that served us were really nice and polite.

Where do I even begin? Mine and my husband's first time in Barcelona and my heart aches because I will not be able to take Luigi Ristorante back home with me. My husband and I LOVED everything we ate at this restaurant. We have been twice because of how amazing it was. We had Pizza, Bruschetta, Salad with Arugula, burrata, pesto and cherry tomatoes, spaghetti alla carbonara with black truffle, chicken milanesa, cheesecake, and chocolate molten pistachio cake with pistachio ice cream! EVERYTHING was so delicious. We were speechless at how delicious it was. Seriously this was the best restaurant experience we had in Barcelona. Thank you to all the cooks, waitresses, waiters, and hosts at Luigi Ristorante you made us have beautiful memories. We will forever miss you! Arrivederci!!!

Utter mediocrity. The aubergine with provolone, tomatoes, pesto and ham was the highlight and even it was barely above average. The focaccia was circular with pieces of tomatoes roughly chopped which made them fall all over the plate when bitting into the focaccia but that’s a minor point, the focaccia was unseasoned no salt whatsoever. The pasta with mushrooms and beef was al dente but that was the only good thing, the beef was overcooked and dry, reminded me of a hockey puck, I didn’t come to this place only for my jaw to be working overtime like a goat chewing on a particularly tough chunk of grass. The pasta was bland so was the meat and so was the sauce if flavour was a crime, everyone in this restaurant would be innocent.
