I had a very unpleasant experience in this place, mainly due to a mix of bad communication, poor service and lack of professionalism.
I was requested to organize an event here, for 23 people. I reserved more than one month ago, I booked a VIP room, to allow for a cozy chatting environment. The night of the event we arrived, and we were told we could not use the VIP room, due to broken air conditioning. I know (from reliable sources) that the air conditioning was broken since ages. What I found most disrespectful is this: if they had called me telling me the VIP room was not available, as B-plan I would have certainly chosen the terrace. But none informed me in advance, so once arrived we were given regular tables indoor (while the terrace was available and much nicer).
Secondly, it has been a nightmare to obtain gluten-free or vegetarian options (vs the standard 60 euros menu), despite having booked so ahead of time. And most of the requested were not fulfilled (i.e. no gluten free standard menu was available for example), so many invitees had to go "a la carte". And when we arrived, they divided us in 2 tables, one for “standard menus” and another one for “a la carte”, which I found very unpleasant: for how much we have paid, I think we should have been given freedom, within our group, to seat however we pleased to.
To be fair, the quality of the standard menu food was good, but who got the vegetarian menu...
Read moreI don’t thing I have the words to express of how disappointed I am in this unprofessional, rude, disgusting place. We went there for a family celebration, with very high expectations. one would expect an excellent and outstanding experience and treatment given the ridiculous prices. But what we got was absolutely nerve wracking. The sushi and the tartar was nice, the issue was with the lobster salad that had bones in it. When we complained, the manager told us that it is normal for the salad to be served this way. I have been working in the most outstanding restaurants in London including Michelin starts and I know that a lobster salad must be completely deboned and everything in it edible. We waited for the manager to come back to us with a recommendation and an alternative or maybe with a new salad but he never came back. Therefore we decided to leave without paying. We were followed by three members of staff demanding from us to pay for the starters. Obviously we refused to pay for those dishes, since the experience was disappointing. We were treated with disrespect and contempt. I will never be back and I will never pay for anything that doesn’t come with a degree of respect consideration and above all with the experience that an expensive restaurant should ensure his or hers...
Read moreBEWARE!!! Honestly I never typically leave reviews and I had too for this one. Me, my best friend & boyfriend went on January 29th, 2023. We’re all from Miami/Toronto so drinking and partying isn’t new to us at all. We didn’t order food as the kitchen was closed so I have no idea how the food is but we did order bottle service. We ordered a bottle of patron. When the bottle arrived, we all looked at each as we could tell the bottle had been resealed. Not with the plastic but the flimsy top sticker. Once we had all taken a shot we had immediately realized what we were drinking was MOST definitely NOT patron. We even called our waiter over to take a shot and of course he insisted it was as what else was he really gonna say. All 3 of us have worked night life and know venues who swap cheaper liquor into expensive bottles but this was absolutely disgusting. I felt like I was drinking chemicals. I was so upset and disappointed. The place itself is nice but $230 euros to get sick off whatever was put into that bottle… would never in my life...
