Mediocre cafe and perhaps a favorite of pick pockets. It's Barcelona, there are many options available to you that are better. We ordered croissants and coffee, only something you can buy in a million places in the city. I thought the croissant was ok, not as good as the one I had at the place that is adjacent to the hotel we stayed in.
Price is also higher than the competition. Coffee was ok, but when we asked for milk or cream it was 20 cents extra charge. Good grief, when you're more expensive than Starbucks the service and the quality had better be superior, and I can't say this was.
The location is good, and the setup is pretty, but I don't think we'll return.
Finally, there was a nice French couple sitting next to us that morning on the first day of their holiday and the lady's purse got stolen. She'd put it on the back of her chair and turned away for just a moment and then it was gone. We felt awful for them but the thief was quick, no one saw anything. The restaurant didn't offer much help, and I'm not blaming them for the thief, but as this location is close to the Plaza Catyluna, it's possible thieves have decided it could be a worthy place to check out with the tourists around. If you do decide to visit this...

I stopped by this place for a snack, and the staff were incredibly RUDE. I honestly can’t remember the last time I experienced such POOR customer service.
I spent about 5 minutes there. The staff seemed annoyed, they were cold, rude, and didn’t even make eye contact with customers. When I finally got my order, I felt so upset by the whole situation that it tainted the taste of the food, which was already greasy and overly salty.
To make things worse, their oven was broken, so they directed me to heat the food in a dirty microwave with no instructions. They just pointed to it and expected customers to figure it out themselves. Overall, a truly disappointing experience.
I work in an airplane serving 400 people from all over the world - I understand it’s not easy, most of the times we are tired, inpatient, but that’s not an excuse. I’m still shocked at how bad the...
Read moreWhile I walked around and not being certain as to what I wanted to eat, I was glad I ran into this cute coffee shop. They have a variety of pastries, empanadas, sandwiches and coffee to choose. I got the mini salami and cheese baguette sandwich, 3 mini tuna empanadas and a variety of the mini croissants. All very tasty and it was better than any chain food. One of the ladies was nice to suggest I warm up my sandwich abd it sure tasted much better! Price is super affordable and you get a quality snack. Service was good and the lady that took care of me nice, friendly...
