Picnic has a seasonal menu that changes based on available ingredients, every dish is crafted with care and prepared with a touch of love that shows in the flavors and composition of the cuisine. Tara and Jamie bring the influences of their varied backgrounds to the menu they serve, and their knowledge of great food and wine is present in everything they serve.
I enjoyed brunch at Picnic, and really enjoyed the restaurant’s design. I relaxed in the earthy décor, with warm wood slat tables and greeneries greeting guests as they enter. I thought my ginger lemonade, which was deliciously sweet and tart, served in a mason jar brought a rustic feel that solidified the picnic style.
I started with quinoa hash browns, which were a great take on the traditional potato accompaniment. Crispy, delicious, and healthier than the original, I thought the hash browns were the perfect introduction to the rest of my brunch.
The pancakes were light and fluffy, delicately melting in my mouth with each bite, and the maple syrup banana, peanut butter sauce and walnuts added a sweet and nutty flavor that really complimented the pancakes. I enjoyed a bowl of bowl of bacon on the side, and it was probably the best bacon I’ve had in a long time. It was crisp but not overdone, meaty and not greasy, but with enough fat to add flavor.
After my pancakes, I tried peach crumble, which was served with crème fraiche and ripe, sliced kiwi. The peaches were sweet and juicy, and the topping gave it just the right texture. A definite winner for me!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Picnic, and let me tell you—it was unreal. From the moment we walked in, our server Andy made the experience unforgettable. Humble, charismatic, and hands-down the best hardest-worker I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. The man doesn’t just serve food—he curates a vibe.
I ordered the French toast with raspberry, Arno blackberry compote, and caramel sauce, and it was like a crater of deliciousness on my plate. I'm 43 years old and have never tasted such a succulent, perfectly balanced piece of French toast in my life. Every bite was a symphony.
Then came the braised short rib. They said it was "fall-off-the-bone," but let’s be real—it was so tender I don’t even believe a bone ever existed. Just pure, flavorful magic.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Andy ran through a catalog of hip-hop and punk rock classics like a living playlist. He’s a true music enthusiast who brings culture to the table along with incredible service. And for 55? Man doesn't look a day over legendary.
Bottom line: You HAVE to go here. Ask for Andy. Eat...
Read moreActually, I didn’t want to write this feedback. I really like this place and the cuisine that they offer but only one thing which I don’t like in this place is the service. In general it is ok but they have some waiters or only one who are not really affable and attentive to customers and it is definitely a weakness of this place. To be more specific:) The last time when I was waiting for the table the waiter (man) was really rude and inattentive and didn’t bring a coffee to me which I ordered to drink while I was waiting:( that’s why I didn’t wait for the table and left the restaurant to my favorite place. I didn’t like the emotions which I experienced. That is why I will think thoroughly next time, do I really want to go to this place. But in general they have quite a weak service. Because I’ve been in my other favorite a place that is close enough to "Picnic" and they are the best. Everything is perfect there. The service and treatment is really good. Just in case if anybody would like to compare that place is called "Cremat 11". The conception is pretty similar but they have more dishes...
