In Barcelona for a job and every place we ate was pretty great. We looked at a few restaurants in the area and decided to come here and give it a try.
Pros: The waiter was super nice and was very attentive. Great attitude considering the cons. The establishment was clean. Beer was good.
Cons: we were the only people inside the establishment. Ordered a meat dish and a rice/meat dish. I would say it took approx 45+ minutes to get the food. When it came, the meat dish was cold and sloppily prepared. We sent it back and it was reheated and returned. The meat wasn't cooked very well.
At first we were told the rice was burnt and they remade the rice/meat dish which was fine but not very tasty. All in all we had a few bites and left. The waiter apologized and offered to take care of us next time which was nice of him, but we will not be returning. Not sure if it was an off night but not a very...
Read moreWe went there to have some drinks. We sat on the terrace of the bar. We waited there for about 10-15 minutes and since no one came to attend us, I went in to order the drinks. Once I entered, they told me no, that I had to wait for them to come out to serve us, but of course, no one came, that's why I went in.
There were 2 waiters inside and there weren't many customers either, they were just talking inside the bar. The boy came out to take our order, we ordered 2 waters, 2 chamomiles, 1 beer and a coffee. After 5 minutes, the boy came back to tell us that they didn't have chamomile. As we can see, the waiter was not aware of the products they had left.
I already went to have dinner at that place once, and the service was the same, very slow and on top of that they charge you more to sit on the terrace.
I do not recommend this place at all. For a 50cl plastic bottle of water, 2€!...
Read moreA nice little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was competent, pleasant and polite. Food was made fresh, served piping hot. Especially loved the fried olives which I’d never heard of before. As a tourist, I’m no expert, but I thought the chicken and seafood paella was delicious. The T-bone steak is served partially cooked so you can finish cooking it to your exact preferences yourself on a hot plate. Two members of staff patiently explained to my father how to do it. It came with salad and fries topped with deep-fried mild peppers. It’s open most of the day, including Sundays. Would...
