We were in this restaurant last week during our visit of Barcelona and I was very disappointed, definitelly better avoid this restaurant. It was the worst restaurant from approximately 6 restaurants we tried in Barcelona, and actually not only this, also the worst one from all my 5 visits of Spain. I ordered Croquetas - the worst I have eaten from all my 5 visits of Spain, chicken wings (alitas de pollo), also the worst I have eaten in Spain, the marinade was not tasty at all, with the first piece in the mounth I was thinking if it is just not tasty marinade or if the meat was spoiled... then I had patatas bravas, also the worst I have eaten, I didn“t like at all the salsa on it, the taste was different from the other sauces I had on patatas bravas I tried in other restaurants and also the sauce was put throughout the whole portion (not only on the top in the middle as in many other restaurants) so I was not able to find any potato without the sauce... The service was horrible as well, but this is the problem in whole spain in most of restaurants (in comparison with my country), they were very slow and even if the waitress could see that I have left quite a lot of food on the plates, she even didn“t ask if it was ok... this restaurant never more, I was leaving it still hungry...all 3 tapas I had here, were the worst in comparison with alls others I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is garbage. I got this paella and that was on the 15th of February. It took a really long time to get out. THEN I GOT FOOD POISONING. It was most definitely this paella because I could not stop throwing this up from about 3 am through the next day. The only thing really coming up was this food. It made me so ill. I thought it was a good deal being only 13 euro, however, when I was eating it, some of the mini shrimps were brown, black, and green. I thought this was the seasoning. NO IT WAS NOT. I had a terrible experience and it ruined the last day of my trip in Barcelona AND IT RUINED MY TRIP TO PORTO THE NEXT DAY AFTER THAT. I threw up all over the park and I couldnāt contain the food or any food for that matter for the days of my following and final day of trips! I am so sad about this because I was really looking forward to eating egg tarts and such and I could not because of this food.
I had got this to go but my airbnb was right there so I ate in there and so it was not even that I left it out for long or anything I ate it approximately 10 mins after getting it. I am really upset and I hope that no one else gets this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmong all the other expensive restaurants, Fernando drew our attention because of its special offer: salad+paella (multiple choice) and dessert/coffee for only ā¬15,5. For this reason, it was the first paella we ate in Barcelona so far.
We ordered a 1L Sangria and after having tried others here in Barcelona, I have got to say it wasn't worth the price. It resembles too much the one you can buy at the supermarket for 3 euros.
The Paella was actually nice, maybe it wasn't the most tipical one but overall approved.
Before having our desserts, we also ordered a Milanese with ham and egg on top. As an Italian, it wasn't bad at all compared to its price.
The crema catalana was actually nice.
Overall, I would recommend it for someone who doesn't want to spend lots of money and still eat more than decently. There are more typical places in which you can eat but usually they are...
