If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this Sicilian gem is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, we were swept away by the vibrant atmosphere and stunningly colorful decor—it felt like stepping into a charming corner of Sicily itself. The restaurant’s commitment to using exclusively Sicilian products is evident in every bite. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors that transport you straight to the Mediterranean. The attention to detail in sourcing their ingredients is truly commendable. Our waitress, Hajar, was absolutely lovely—attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She added a personal touch to the evening, making us feel right at home and ensuring everything was perfect. This place is ideal for a romantic date night or simply a meal to savor and remember. I can’t recommend it enough! We’ll definitely be back to relive the magic. Bravo!

My gosh!! What a find! If you want a change from local food or if you are only traveling and visiting Barcelona but would like a taste of Italy, this is a MUST! Don’t be taken aback if outside is empty, because it is full inside. I am happy I looked. I was helped by Sonia and everything she suggested was beyond tasty. As someone who truly appreciates good food I can tell you that this was 10 stars not 5! I have had fresh pastas in Italy and with pistachios and I can tell you this was fresh home made pasta! I had ARANCINA CON RAGU DE CARNE, CROQUETA PALERMITANA DE PECORINO Y JAMÓN to die for two starters and pasta LA CARBO-MIZZICA DI PISTACCHIO had to take half home and tiramisu. Yummy yum yummy! Thank you Sonia for your suggestions and kindness. Will definitely come back while I’m here. Natasa

The food was pretty good, not cheap but good quality ingredients and portions. We started with a mixed cold cut plate, i can recommend it to share. The mizzica salad was ok but nothing extra Arancina is juicy, tasty and big (1 is enough for 2 people) I really liked the carbo mizzica pasta, however the guanciale can be too salty for some people. The swordfish busiate pasta was also good, but wasnt amazing in my opinion. For dessert we had tiramisu, i wasnt amazed, they made it in front of us, its something i dont really need personally, but since they literally made there the biscuits were not soaked, and it was a bit dry and crispy. I prefer when its soft. Overall i would definitely return

I’ve eaten at this restaurant in Barcelona on three occasions, and each time the food has exceptional. However, I’m writing this review to share my disappointment with the service we received last night. We had booked a table for a one-hour slot and completed our meal by 20:03 — just three minutes over the allotted time & at which point, we were still the only people in the restaurant. Despite this, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the behaviour of our server, Paula. Throughout the evening, her demeanor made us feel uncomfortable. She criticised our tone of voice, was unreasonably argumentative, and slammed the bill down on the table. Additionally, she refused our request to split the bill, which felt unnecessarily unaccommodating and after I have been able to do this during previous visits.

However the most upsetting part was a comment she made about our level of Spanish, implying it was inadequate. Having lived in Barcelona for over 10 years and regularly communicating in Spanish, this remark felt not only unnecessary but also disrespectful. We did request to speak to the manager to which she responded, 'I am the manager'.

I feel that after some good experiences here and good food, after last night, we will not eat here again nor recommend this restaurant as a result....

Went with high expectations and sadly left feeling very let down. Food - one dish (penne) was cold and VERY salty, pretty inedible - the other was OK, but didn't eat it all at it was very stoggy and lacked flavour. Mentioned to staff, they did not offer to rectify. Service - had booked, but they could not find our booking, so seated behind a screen at the back of the restaurant, no atmosphere - main restaurant looked very nice. Mains came just after starters, so no time to enjoy our bread and olives. Staff on the whole seemed pretty disinterested in being there (one lady was nice though). Atmosphere - zero! for reasons mentioned above. We rarely leave negative reviews, but felt this warranted it as it was expensive and fell short in many ways. We were so looking forward to it as it was a special occasion - we were in and out...
