Secrets Westfield Glòries — Restaurant in Barcelona

Paseando por Barcelona a veces se pueden subestimar las distancias: todo es llano, el clima en general es agradable y hay muchas cosas que ver. Por suerte, entre bares, restaurantes, etc. etc., hay muchos puntos de avituallamiento... Yo diría que incluso demasiados, hasta el punto de sentirse "desorientado"/"perdido". En mis primeros días aquí en Barcelona me sentí así varias veces... tenía calor y quería tomar algo fresco o simplemente necesitaba un café y descansar las piernas pero no sabía a dónde ir y seguí intentándolo. Así fue hasta que encontré BAR SECRETS en Glories. Una vez que lo conocí no volví a salir de él: los productos utilizados son de gran calidad y están atendidos profesionalmente por trabajadores muy atentos y amables que te hacen sentir como en casa enseguida... no tienes la sensación que tienes en grandes cadenas, ser un simple número; pero la organización todavía está bien estructurada. Y la terraza te da una agradable sensación de protección y te ofrece privacidad, a pesar de estar al aire libre. Definitivamente el oasis perfecto para tomarte un tiempo para relajarte, hablar con amigos, leer un libro y dedicarte a lo que más te gusta.

Caminando per Barcellona, a volte si possono sottovalutare le distanze: tutto in pianura, clima tendenzialmente piacevole e tante cose da vedere. Per fortuna, tra bar ristoranti, ecc. ecc., molti i punti di ristoro...direi, addirittura troppi, al punto da sentirsi "spaesati"/"persi". Io, nei miei primi giorni qui a Barcellona mi sono sentito così varie volte...avevo caldo e voglia di bere qualcosa di fresco o semplicemente necessità di un caffè e di riposare le gambe ma non sapevo dove andare e procedevo a tentativi. Questo finché non mi sono imbattuto nel BAR SECRETS del Glories. Una volta conosciuto, non lo ho mai più lasciato: i prodotti utilizzati sono di qualità e vengono serviti professionalmente da dei lavorati molto accorti e gentili che ti fanno sentire subito a casa...non hai la sensazione, che si prova nelle grandi catene, di essere un semplice numero; ma la organizzazione è comunque ben strutturata. E la terrazza ti dà una piacevole sensazione di protezione e ti offre privacy, pur essendo all'aperto. Decisamente l'oasi perfetta per prendersi un po' di tempo di relax, parlare con gli amici, leggere un libro e dedicarsi a ciò...

Terrible customer service (and I've lived in Spain for 10 years so I have realistic expectations) Went in at 9:30am to get 2 coffees. Lady serving was visibly pissed off to begin with. Ordered 2 coffees, one with oat milk. Both came with cows milk- no problem, it happens- asked for a replacement . They immediately said we were lying and we specifically ordered normal milk (definitely we did not). Claimed they didn't have any oat milk, so we asked them to refund the wrong drink. Suddenly they DID have oat milk at this point. Got a refund. Never going back. Pros: Chia pudding was delightful but not delightful enough to counterbalance abysmal customer...

We are big fans of secrets in diagonal so when we saw it in glories we got super exited to lunch here. We ordered our meal and it was served nearly instantly. However that’s the only good part about it. The plates were clearly microwaved or heated up in some other way, as the food turned dull and half hot half cold. The sauce serving looks disgusting and super unappetising. And all of this topped up with the confusion in our order, as we have asked for one of the dishes to be served without the spicy sauce, and it was all over the place. I’m not sure if it’s a common practice or we were just ‘lucky’, but we had a very...
