AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!
We arrived around 1:25 PM in pouring rain and cold weather, looking for a warm place to eat well. We found neither.
We seated immediately at a table for two. The restaurant was not crowded, yet we had to wait at least 25 minutes before a waitress even came to take our order: a portion of fries, onion rings, and two burgers.
The fries arrived one hour after ordering (not exaggerating), followed by six tiny, tasteless, obviously industrial onion rings 10 minutes later. They charged €6 for these six miserable pieces (basically €1 per supermarket onion ring), and they looked nothing like the photos on their website. (watch my pictures). This is completely dishonest and misleading. We asked for sauce, which never arrived until we asked again and at this point, we were still waiting for our burgers 1h30 after ordering.
I finally went to speak with the staff to ask where our burgers were and why it was taking so long ; we’re talking about two simple burgers (three pieces of meat, some bread, and a few condiments). I also told them we wanted to leave and pay only for what we had consumed. One waitress, who at least spoke English (unlike the manager), told me they have only one kitchen for two restaurants and that there were customers before us. Their attitude was unacceptable.
Another issue: we were soaked and it was cold inside. They hadn't turned on the heating until my partner inplicitly asked them to, which is ridiculous in such weather.
Now, let’s talk about the toilets : not particularly clean, a flimsy little lock barely keeping the door shut, lights that turn off automatically, and toilet paper placed carelessly outside its holder.
I have never experienced such slow and unacceptable service, and I work in a busy, touristy brasserie myself.
When it was time to pay, the manager smugly said, "Did you notice we turned on the heating?" as if she expected gratitude. I also pointed out the absurd price and tiny portion of onion rings, to which she simply replied, "That's the listed price" : a completely useless response. I requested a commercial gesture from them, which would have been the bare minimum considering the horrible service, the long wait, and the poor portions. She refused, saying "I can't do anything, I'm not the boss."
This place is a joke. Avoid it at all costs, it objectively deserves...
Read moreVery mediocre burgers and fries. Design is nice but its not worth the visit unfortunately. Mind that I visited during a very non-busy period, only 1-2 tables were occupied. I asked the waitress if I can have one of the special burgers, but instead of beef with chicken. She said it wasn't possible, which is pretty weird to me. (If it was busy, then I understand, but again that time only our table was in the ordering phase). So I asked for a chicken burger without onion and fries. The fries came like 10mins before the burgers, which was pretty weird. They were also not super crunchy. When my burger came, it had onion in it. At least only 3 tiny rings, on top of the single layer lettuce leafe and single tomato ring. The chicken was okay, but pretty fatty.
Also, the toilet door was broken, didn't have any kind of lock, the toilet was dirty and the light randomly turned off, leaving you in total darkness. Soooooo not...
