I recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant that has veggie options, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The variety of veggie tapas was impressive, offering creative and flavorful dishes that go beyond the usual options. The mushroom croquettes were a standout—crispy on the outside, creamy and rich on the inside, with a deep, earthy flavor. The veggie paella was equally delightful, bursting with fresh vegetables, saffron, and perfectly cooked rice. Next level tapas and service. We came to Gats looking for dinner without a reservation. They were able to accommodate us with no wait. Gats has a lot of good things going for it. The sangria and cocktails were exceptional. I had the Oaxaca Old fashioned and the tinto sangria and both were excellent. The tapas are truly amazing. Our 4th night in Barcelona and have had some really good food, but the tapas here are really special. For comparison, the croquettes were the best we had. We also had the ceviche with corn 2 ways and the tuna tartare wakame salad which were both unique and well thought out dishes that tasted amazing. We also had the steak and a paella that were both great as well. Our server Valeria was the best. She came to see us often and we felt well taken care of, she was able to provide solutions to my dietary restrictions without any frustration at all, and her English was muy bueno.
