My fiancé and I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Florentine Barcelona not once, but twice during our trip, and I can confidently say that it’s one of the best brunch spots we’ve ever experienced. Everything about The Florentine was 10/10, from the incredible food to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and a vibrant yet cozy vibe that immediately made us feel at home. The service here is truly exceptional, with David, Jessica, and Sharon going above and beyond to ensure that our experience was perfect. They were attentive without being overbearing, and their passion for what they do was evident in every interaction.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely divine! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu offers a fantastic variety of brunch options that cater to different tastes, and everything we tried was fresh, creative, and delicious. The quality of the ingredients really shone through, making each bite a delight. I had high expectations for this Instagram-focused brunch spot based on dazzling, highly curated social media photos that weren't quite met.

The positive: -Staff were extremely attentive and professional despite very challenging conditions -The price is reasonable. We paid less than €20 per person and tried a wide variety of options

The meh: -The food was serviceable but not noteworthy. The American breakfast and the café frappé were a hit at our table. The eggs were somewhat overdone on the salmon benedict, which otherwise was what you would expect of it. The dulce de leche pancakes were flavorful, but a bit dense, and my mother described the taste of the pancakes on their own as being reminiscent of mixes -Just as it looks on Instagram, the Florentine is very photogenic for a crafted social media post, but don't go looking too closely at the details

The bad: -On one of the hottest weekends of the year, at 32 degrees outside and full humidity (well before the new regulations), there was no air conditioning running, leading people to use menus and whatever else they could to fan themselves, and even more so making the work of the staff much...

I had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful brunch at The Florentine in Barcelona with two friends, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, perfectly complementing the delicious food they serve.

We started with the Huevos Rancheros, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The Omelette Iberica was equally delightful, featuring fresh and high-quality ingredients. The avocado was ripe and creamy, and the Benedict Avocado was a true highlight – rich, savory, and expertly prepared.

To drink, we had Agua con Gas and freshly squeezed Naranja Natural, which were refreshing and a great accompaniment to our meal.

The service was impeccable. Our server, Jess, was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect dining experience.
