Tranqui Brunch — Restaurant in Barcelona

When me and my girlfriend visited this cafe, we initially chose to sit and wait for someone to approach us to take our order. After a while I realised that it wasn't that kind of cafe (on me) and stood up to order but immediately got told to sit back down and that they would take our order. Once they started making the coffees I overhead them mocking us for not getting up and ordering saying extremely rude things about us. They also had photographers in taking photos of the food and drinks and they made us feel like they would have rathered us not be there so they could focus more on getting good photos rather than doing our order. If you’re not willing to wait for a table here… you’re not ready for greatness. Yes, there’s usually a wait — and YES, it’s so worth it. Honestly, I’d pitch a tent outside if I had to.

The brunch? Perfection. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served — from the avo toast to the fruit explosion on that French toast (my taste buds are still clapping). And the lovely guy who served us made the whole experience even better — all smiles, good vibes, and the kind of energy that makes you want to come back the next day.

Such a great spot for breakfast/brunch whether it’s something sweet or something savoury that you’re after. Be prepared to queue for a table as it’s such a popular space but the staff are more than accommodating and attentive to those waiting. The hummus toast is a must and make sure to add an egg to this dish! Really fresh food and delicious juice, smoothies & coffee too. Special shout-out to Ben who was extremely friendly and made the whole experience better - he runs a tight ship and keeps very good vibes around the place. Could not recommend...
