We were a group of 13 and we had dinner there everyday for a week. And sometimes lunch too:) A small restaurant run by a family (at least they looked like people who really like each other). They work hard every day and always have a smile and good word for customers. But let’s talk about the food, right;) During the week we have ‘eaten’ almost the whole menu, some dishes a few times;) Everything is super tasty, fresh, home made. Wonderful Cabra queso salad (goat cheese salad) and burata (see the pic). Paella marisco, pasta with seafood and ravioli with amazing mushroom sauce. Eggplant chips were our favourite:) bell pepper salad looks and tastes great too. The menu also includes dishes of Philipinian cuisine and chicken noodles and home made spring rolls were the best! I really recommend this place, a true must-eat-there when you are in BCN❤️ Nice location, after rich food you can walk in the Park Ciudadella or even run if you overeat, which is easy at Bell Pepper’s🤭
We always loved every dish there!
Many thanks to the staff and James Strawberry and to the Boss🥰 Greetings from...
Read moreWhile walking by spotted some people enjoying a beautifully presented, delicious looking paella. That convinced me to give this lil cozy place a try. And I am So happy with my decision. After having lived with a Spanish family for a year, my own criteria for what is a good paella had skyrocketed and finding an equally good tasting restaurant paella has been a struggle. HOWEVER Bell Pepper seafood paella finally hit the spot! It is rich in taste, rice is cooked to the perfect level of soft yet still crunchy and everything together just melts on your tongue. Also it's presented in a metal dish (that I assume it is cooked in) which doesn't let it cool down while you're enjoying it. Staff were very polite and helpful, as well as refreshingly not too pushy. In general, would definitely come back again and recommend...
Read moreAnother accidentally visited place that was a nice discovery. The place can't be situated better, just a few meters from the park, where you can see the back of the Cascada Monumental from your chair. The waiter wasn't just friendly, he was extremely friendly. Now the food: there I received the most generous portion of Padron Peppers for my entire week in Barcelona. The burrata salad with shrimps was perfect too. Patatas Bravas were again generous in portion and with a nice sauce /we ordered a second bowl/. The Chipirones were very good, and the burger too. The only small disappointment was the chicken wings, though very tasty, they had that distinctive flavour of rotisserie chicken, which means that they were probably bought that way and then reheated on the grill /with visible marks/ and served with...
