Vrutal | Eixample Tapas Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

I first visited Vrutal in Poble Nou after a day at platja del Mar Bella. I enjoyed the food so much that when I saw there was a location on Diputació I needed to check it out.

I wasn't disappointed. The waitress was kind and attentive and it was easy for me to communicate with her in english (I view the language aspect as an added bonus and not factored into my overall review)

I ordered the bibimbap and I was blown away at how delicious it was. The combo of the creamy, sweet peanut sauce and the tangy, spicy kimchi was spot on. Easily one of my favorite meals during my stay, and im making my own mouth water by retelling lol.

I also recommend the French kiss burger though it is VERY rich...

This is a truly great restaurant. If you are looking for excellent vegan burgers, a club sandwich - when was the last time you had a club sandwich?! - This is the place. So many great traditional or standard dishes, but with a twist! The potato bravas had truffle mayo, sauteed mushrooms, and vegan parmesan, for example. I can't stop thinking about the French Kiss burger. It was cooked rare with caramelized onions - so satisfying! When we have vegan restaurants like this, there is no reason to eat meat!
