Food was good but gave me a stomache ache 2 days in a row and was constantly going to the restroom, spending half my day there. There were plenty of no steeling signs that ruined the enviorment, making me feel like a thief. Some of the food was expired because I ate the meatballs and they tasted like tofu and were a really weird texture. The bamboo i ate was like a rock because of how hard it was. The restroom in the restaurant smelled really bad and there was no toilet paper left so I had to use the old indian method to wipe. When I put the soup in my mouth it was boiling and I had a huge pain in my tounge for 6 days straight. When it came to choosing the spiciness, the waitress told me that there were three levels of spice. I decided to pick the second level of spice thinking it was going to be a bit spicy but only having a small sip of it I already felt it going down my body and washing up my cold in a second. I had to ask the manager to add some more water to remove some of the spice, because if I would've eaten it with the second level spice instead of 2 days in the bathroom it would have been 2 weeks. They told me to wait a few minutes because I was feeling the temperature and not the spice. I waited one hour and the spice was still like before. Apart from that the place was nice and behind us came some grandparents that looked excited at the beginning but dont know if they left excited, or if they were even able to...

I love this concept of hot pot being charged based on weight. So often I end up feeling like I am wasting so much food when I get a bowl of noodles in soup. Here, I can order as much or as little as I feel like. And while there's always a chance of overestimating how hungry I am, this does reduce how much I generally get in an order. And as a bonus, you can choose whatever you like and not put in anything you don't like.
They have a wide selection of ingredients from noodles to vegetables to meats.
All you do is take a bowl, fill it with as much as you'd like to put in your soup, then they weigh it and you choose the type of soup base. And then it comes hot and steaming to your table cooked. And since it's personal-sized hotpot, there's also a station for mixing your own sauce.
Now, if only they had fish balls, it would have been truly perfect.

Read moreAs a Singaporean staying in Barcelona, I can guarantee that the taste is 99.99% the same as the YGF in Singapore. In fact, only the 3 layered pork is different as it is upgraded with Iberico Pork, while still pretty much tasting the same. The broth tastes absolutely the same, with a variety of ingredients that are very Chinese and are uniform across YGF globally
Price wise, it is super affordable and even cheaper in absolute and relative terms than other Chinese restaurants out in Barcelona.
Service wise, Asians are very service oriented and is a far cry better out than the other European restaurants out there. I was amazed that as I was their last customer of the day, they have given me a free drink as well.
Really recommend this place if you miss...
