Las Mañanitas — Restaurant in Barcelona

We have visited this little Mexican restaurant very recently with a friend visiting Barcelona. The prices surely caught our eye and the very fun, beautiful interior design too. There is a choice for starters and second dishes. We loved the nachos,the size was okay but the quesadilla was a bit disappointing, quite small and nothing special. On the contrary, tacos were very tasty, especially we loved the fact that they were quite authentic and super tasty. The girl who was working there was such a delight, attentive and very friendly. Also, a big plus is that they serve water bottled in their restaurant in cool bottles. For the dessert we had the chocolate mousse and the tres leches dessert, both were okay but the coffee was not good at all. The coffee had some weird taste and ruined the overall impression. Other than that really recommend the place hopefully they will make...

Visiting from Texas i had to laugh when i found this place around the corner from our hotel. But I was glad I did because i wasn't disappointed by the cooking nor the drinks! The owner was basically running the whole place by herself which was impressive, although did lead to sometimes long times trying to get something else. The entire restaurant was very closely packed, although i wasn't complaining at all since i thought the cozy atmosphere was a great addition to the feel of the whole place!

Definitely visit if you're from the southwest of America and missing Mexican...

Mi dispiace esser rimasta delusa da questo locale… alle ore 13 io e il mio ragazzo siamo arrivati e dopo esserci seduti ci hanno portato il menú (menú del brunch, ma noi non sapevamo ci fosse un menú diverso per il pranzo) ovviamente noi volevamo pranzare, vedendo il menú notiamo che ci sono pochi piatti a prezzi alti, ordiamo delle quesadillas e il cameriere ci propone anche di ordinare delle uova se avevamo MOLTA fame (senza proporci di fare un pranzo, dato l’orario, cosa poco carina dato che ci è sembrato volesse farci spendere di piú per piatti di piccole porzioni senza darci la possibilità di pranzare magari spendendo meno), noi dato i prezzi alti ordiniamo solo le quesadillas e dell’acqua. L’acqua ci arriva a temperatura ambiente, fuori dal locale c’erano quasi 30 gradi e abbiamo dovuto chiederlo noi di portarci dell’acqua FREDDA, pensavo fosse ovvio… Il cibo era discreto, nulla di particolare, porzioni molto piccole. La cosa che non mi è piaciuta, è stato quando sono entrati nel locale una coppia di anziani e SUBITO gli hanno chiesto se volessero fare un brunch o pranzare, a noi non è mai stato chiesto o nessuno ci aveva detto che ci fossero due menú separati! Se entro in un locale alle ore 13, io pensavo fosse scontato che volessimo pranzare, ma visto che siamo stranieri ci è stato proposto solo il brunch (a mio parere solo per farci spendere di piú). Un vero peccato perchè ormai avevamo finito di mangiare e affamati siamo dovuti andare a pranzo da un altra...
