We ordered some tapas and got batatas bravas that were fried potatoes from the frozen aisle at the supermarket served with what tasted exactly like heinz chili ketchup I have in my fridge at home, actually embarrassing. The empanada was dry and did not appear to have been made at the restaurant either and had a random lettering print on it saying ”argentina”, our suspicions of a freezer aisle empanada arose on this one as well, not at all like the picture of a golden crisp empanade shown in their pictures here on google. This is a family owned and run restaurant and it shows in their caring approach to the dining experience. The homemade fresh tagliatelle carbonara is enough to bring tears of joy.
