Worst meal of my life I’ve always enjoyed South American food, especially in Spain, after this place I’m not sure I’ll ever go in another one again
Service was incredibly slow and the place not at all busy, it was a hot day so not too concerned initially, the friendly girl worked alone who didn’t speak one word of English (we’re in Benidorm right, hello!)
I ordered my usual Empanada favourite but these were totally dry and unpleasant, I thought I’d treat myself and have the Chrirasco steak, asked for medium, it arrived dry, like rubber and seriously over cooked with more bones gristle and fat than meat, I wouldn’t have given it to my dog let alone a human, it was disgusting.
So after using the toilet and trying to wash my hands made impossible by the lack of running water, (is that legal in Spain?) I went to pay.
I asked to speak about the bill 35 euros in Benidorm is a lot for lunch for one, especially for this, the manager discussed it and agreed to charge half, but had to get owners approval
Aloof owner was phoned and then shows up and says he doesn’t speak English but he very clearly does and wants it paying in full or he calls the police no discussion!
Totally unacceptable behaviour and clearly not someone who should be allowed to work with human beings, his establishment and him wouldn’t survive for a week in the UK!
So please use one of the numerous other restaurants in town not this one and he can go back to the circus that...

Over 1 hour for what is a medium rare steak, how hard is it to show heat on both sides of the meat and whack it on my plate with some already cooked chips that was bulk cooked 20mins ago. I don’t even care if it tastes good, I just want to line my stomach and hit the town but apparently, I can’t do that without someone having to go and kill the cow first. Do you know who Greg is? He runs 10k multiple times per week, goes to gym and gets people to get the correct shoe size for people to try on. He ain’t got time to be waiting and this needs to be fixed immediately. Read moreEmpecemos: Al parecer el parrillero no trabajo, se puso malo, se puede entender, el problema esta en no avisar a los comensales del retraso en cocina, nada menos que hora y media esperando la comanda y nadie se acerco a preguntar si faltaba algo o disculparse por el retraso, me levanté a llamar la atención y tachan la parrillada que pedimos estaba lista mágicamente, eso sí tan quemada que tuve que lavar mis dientes varias veces para quitarme el sabor. Les reclamé el servio, la comida quemada el retraso excesivo, seguro que saben quién soy dado que fui demasiado sinceró y cortés, quizá demasiado cortés, diría que en exceso, la falta de una persona no justifica una parrillada quemada, pequeña, muy pequeña para 65€ que supuestamente es para 3 o 4 adultos, tan desastrosa que con dos niños y dos adultos nos quedamos con hambre, un pollo con patatas es mucho más completo que este desastre de experiencia.
Sinceramente no espero que me regalen lo comido, pero si después de que esa mesa que espero una hora y media me dice que está quemada la Comida y me lo muestra, se me cae la cara de vergüenza, todos hemos realizado una barbacoa en casa, no es tan difícil.
A mis 45 Años, infinidad de lugares como Tailandia, Alemania, EEUU, Francia, Turquía, México, muchos más, en Benidorm vivo mi peor experiencia. Lamentable un total de 80€ de cena sin postre o cafe.
