The City Sports Bar — Restaurant in Benidorm

A great looking bar,interior is superb, cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, neon lit features, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Avinguda Alcoi and the wonderful Mediterranean Sea bevond. We were here on a Thursdav late afternoon, bar was packed with a great atmosphere, we ordered bottles of Mahou green beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold ano sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar while we sipped our beers. I love this beer, a golden, hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twir brother, best beer companion in the world We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and althouah our visit was onlv fleeting as on every other visit to The City Sports Bar we had a great time, its a bar easy to locate along Avinguda Alcoi and is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning a holiday...

My husband and I went here and had a breakfast because we had over slept and missed breakfast in our hotel 2 breakfasts and a couple of drinks our bill was €24 + so I gave the guy serving us the bill and €30 thank you have a nice day we waited about 5 minutes for him to bring our change but he never came back we were very annoyed but as the pub was very busy we just agreed to leave and not return again 😡 yes it was only €5 + euros but if they do this to more customers they must make a killing on a daily basis was very annoying as we are All Inclusive and only had a limited amount of euros with us so kinda had to budget but when this is happening its a little harder the same thing happend to us further along the strip in The Jungle.....It WONT HAPPEN AGAIN CAUSE IF I EVER GET TREATED LIKE THIS AGAIN I'LL SIT THERE AND WAIT AS LONG AS I HAVE TOO It's all down to the principle if we had left without paying they'd have been after us or called the cops so not 1 rule for staff and 1 for customers I'm afraid.....so just watch out if you eat or drink in either of...

Great Bar- lovely spot for people watching, but without being in the chaos of main part of Benidorm Old City. It is quiet enough to have a private conversation, but still there is nice atmosphere and music playing.

We didn’t get any food/ don’t know if they do food, but my cocktails were lovely (so far best in Benidorm)- not too strong, where they just taste of liquor, but also not too sweet. Prices are very fair too.
