Bobby's Gourmet Barbecue — Restaurant in Bilbao

Food was good but they don't seem to like foreigners, specially if you are from the US. Staff needs training in how to greet a client. They stand right in front of your face to tell you that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. I just wanted to eat a bowl of soup, first they said yes, them they said no that I would have to order the whole special of the day. Ok give me the special. They brought me the soup and water (Never the second entree)..and the dessert. I paid for the whole meal which was never served. I speak perfect English and Spanish, so i could understand them very well. I can't understand why tourist are treated so badly. After us more people came in and they were never told that the kitchen was closing and were served full meals. Staff, specially the male server was very rude.I will never put a foot in this place....

The food is pretty good, some of the starters were delicious, others seemed okay. My burger was pretty average considering I found the restaurant on a list of the best burgers in Bilbao. I prefer Goiko to here. And the service was pretty awful. We asked for all the food to come out together, some starters came out then some more, then there was a big wait for the mains and they didn't all come out together either. Things were forgotten, like a request for fries rather than new potatoes, and Fanta orange rather than Fanta lemon. And in general they gave a good impression of being too busy for us while there were still lots of empty tables around. But food quality to pice was...

Amazing burgers, bursting with flavour. My husband and I each got the extra large ones. We ordered them well done and they came out just a tiny bit pink in the middle but we closed our eyes! The burger sauce is delicious. The starters were very commercial - mozzarella sticks probably out of a packet. Then again, it is a franchise. One thing I will say - it was extremely hot and while the restaurant had air conditioning, it wasn’t being used. Had they had the air con switched on we would have stayed for dessert and another beer or two. I should point out - they only sell beer or wine so no...
