My boyfriend and I were planning to spend Valentine's Day in Cadiz as it overlaps with Carnaval season so he booked us a reservation at Burlesque for the first time to celebrate the special day. We visit Cadiz multiple times per year and already have our list of favorite restaurants; let's just say we're adding this one to the list. First and foremost, the restaurant is aesthetically gorgeous and the atmosphere inside makes you feel like you're in an elegant restaurant in Madrid rather than a tapas bar in Cadiz. It's hard to choose from the menu because there are many good options, including a great wine list. We decided to try the red tuna tacos to start and they were delicious. The plate came with two tacos so we each ate one. Then we ordered both the prawn gyozas and the Iberian ham fillets to share. Both dishes had good portions and were equally satisfying. For dessert, we had two sorbets: one lemon and another mango. I'd suggest going with the mandarin flavor - it's absolutely amazing! Finally we finished our meal with two cafecitos. During which the chef came to our table to ask about our experience. The service during the entire lunch was great but that extra detail shows this place goes above and beyond for its customers. Our next trip to Cadiz we will be booking here again but most likely for dinner so we can see the live...

If you wanna smell toilet while you eat come here! This is such a trap! My friend had a birthday and we gave reservations for 20people. Yes it looks amazing but oh darling! Food were the most awful thing we've ever ate in Cadiz! Some of us ordered risotto (Saltless) some of us ordered steak medium( It's just little bit fried raw meat. Spaghetti was lack of cheese and salt. OMG and when I'm saying it's tasteless waiters said I brought you salt what you want! Hope chef can read this Blyat! Also waiters are lost. They don't even know what we ordered and forgot their orders and asking so many times over and over then also mixing our dishes. The one who speaks English was so rude and when we complained about the food she's saying why are you saying now after you ate! Which we couldn't ate at all! And nobody came to ask how is the food. Again this is such a trap and food were so bad! Maybe it would be great if you bring your most hated person in the world and poison by their food. Oh and toilet smell is all around the restaurant 🤢 One of the bad restaurant in Cadiz! Of course as a compensation cheese cake were better. The...

Overall we were disappointed with this restaurant with regard to the food. We couldn't fault the staff; efficient, friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and they sometimes have live music. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The abanico ibérico was very small, more like a tapa and the meat was not tender. The pollo al carbón was served with chips which could have come from Macdonald's and the portion was small too. The chicken was dry and there was not much bbq sauce. The pasta was mediocre. The deserts were tasty and looked attractive. One thing to mention was that the bread cost us nearly 20 euros for 12 people and there wasn't even enough for one slice of bread each. If you value atmosphere over the food, I recommend this restaurant, if not, I'm sorry but we were...

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and it is located in a nice area. The staff is very friendly but the cleaning should be improved. I found a lot of dust around the table (see pictures). The food was ok, not bad but also not the type of taste for which I would come back again. The chicken was soft and well cooked, but I would have served it with homemade chips. The tagliatelle were 1 min cooked too long, but good. For my taste too much cheese that cover the flavor of the truffle and mushroom.
