me and my family are regulars here at fosters hollywood miramar but this was our last time as customers. food was inedible, service was the worst i have ever experienced. they need to hire new staff. i was met with the grumpiest “i hate working here” server who showed us to the table and took our drinks order. we received drinks after maybe 30 mins wait. another server (girl, she also hates her job) took our order shortly after. after 2 hours wait and no server checking on us or walking over to the table when we asked for help, my boyfriend walked over to the “orders desk” and asked them to check on our food. the server left to check and never came back….. a while later another server walked past our table and we asked if she would check our food aswell. she came back and told us “15-20 minutes”. we already had beed waiting well over 2 hours. a couple next to us had been ignored and laughed at by the same waiter that checked on our food, and they decided to leave without paying. servers looked confused but looking back i should have left too after the first hour wait. after 10 minutes a new server (male) came up to us and apologised for the wait and said the food would be there in 2 mins. he was the only server who acted nicely and not in a rude manner. when we received the food it was VERY obvious that they forgot our order and decided to rush it. the spear ribs were so burnt it was inedible and the ceasar salad i ordered tastes like dirt (probably unwashed). by the time we finished eating we had been there maybe 3 hours. entire families and groups of 8+ people had already ordered, ate, ordered dessert and left by the time we received the food. refills also took at least 30 minutes since they never left the outdoor seating area and refused to communicate with other servers. the restaurant was also almost EMPTY when all this happened, so understaffed is not an excuse. there were plenty of servers standing around and chatting (right next to bathroom/kitchen entrance inside and the orders bar outside). the server who seated us was also walking around on his phone not looking around at the customers who wanted his attention, and not cleaning the dirty tables until someone requested to sit there. we did not get offered a discount at all after all of this. on the other hand, i would like to give thanks to the ONLY server who was nice and helpful (started his shift where we sat 7. august around 5-6pm, short hair, tan skin, male 20-25yrs. give...
Read moreIt's a shame you can't give minus stars!! We were greeted by a nice member of staff who was very accommodating. We ordered our drinks and they came quite quickly. We ordered food, 3 pasta dishes and a plate of fries with cheese and bacon. After 50 minutes of waiting we complained and asked were our food was. 5 minutes later our food arrived - COLD. It was obvious it had been sitting around on the hot plate. We sent the food back to be heated up, in the mean time we were asked if we wanted another drink which we did. The guy who brought us the drinks slammed them in the table, left the empty glasses on the table, no eye contact whatsoever and walked off. After another 10 minutes we decided it was long enough to wait so we got up to leave. They did bring out the fries and we said no thanks over an hour waiting for food was enough. Read moreIf the food wasn't so great, I wouldn't ever return because the service is usually horrible but recently I've noticed that they actually tried with our last visit. They even asked us if we wanted more to drink. I will say though that coming from an American this is real authentic American cuisine.

I recently dropped by with my boyfriend and his friend. We called ahead and the manager answered positively and communicated to the servers, whom were welcoming upon our arrival.
