Bar Restaurant La Terra — Restaurant in Girona

This place has the feel of one of those coffee house/sandwich and salad places always owned by an earth mother type that usually goes out of business. La Terra however is not one of those places. It's an eclectic mix of dishes all wonderfully prepared with very clearly quality ingredients. I had a veal burger and as a man from Oklahoma USA I feel like I know a thing or two about hamburgers and this burger was the veal deal. It was a veal burger with gruyere cooked to medium rare by default. It was truly a thing of beauty.

After strolling the city walls and the Old Town Booth decided it was beer o'clock. Madge fancied a chocolate cake and a spinach quiche. Sadly the pastry was very soggy. Mary Berry would not approve. Two burgers and a chicken burger. All were so-so. Burgers were supposed to come with fries but they are tiny, miniture potato chip things and are not french fries and it is disappointing to have them appear in a tiny, tomato ketchup sized bowl and passed off as fries.
