The food was not good. I went with my family after being at the Alhambra for hours, so we were starving. I usually like to look around before ordering to get a vibe and noticed one of the empty tables had a plate with carbonara pasta almost intact. Which made me guess the food was probably not great. I would've loved to try the nazarí food. But opted instead for something cheaper and simpler. Although I didn't have a lot of faith from the get go, we were not in the mood to go somewhere else. So we ordered a bolognese pasta and a 🍔. The pasta was meh. But the burger was the worst I had in my life. The patty didn't even look like real meat. I was genuinely concerned to even take a bite. I didn’t have time to research a suitable lunch place near the Alhambra, and, as it goes, I thought it was going to be a tourist trap — thank God it wasn’t. We had very little time before our tour, so we explained that to our server, who was so attentive that we not only enjoyed every dish but also made it back to our tour guide on time.

The restaurant’s second floor is quite airy, clean, and well-decorated. We tried Salmorejo (cold tomato soup blended with bread, tomatoes, and garlic, served with chunky cured ham and boiled egg on the side) and Remojón Granadino (cold salad with cod and fresh orange). Both were absolutely delicious!

Family run business, since it is near the palace with good food options, they are very busy. Staff lost smile or great well. Food options are good for that area. They r so focused to get cash that they switch off internet, so that card machines do not work. Then they say something is wrong with the card, please pay cash, there is an ATM outside of the shop. I came to know since ATM was out of cash and I had to come back and ask, then they switched on internet and card payment was successful.....
