Really nice restaurant with good view.. the food is nice.. but I would really like to point out one thing.. the lady at the restaurant gave a very cold vibe .. almost as if she did not want us there! We were staying at the hotel.. and after a long journey from Seville with a 2 year old, we headed starlight for the nice restaurant and was instantly met with very cold attitude by the waitress. The other waiters made up for it though with their service. After taking a brisk walk through the Alhambra palace, we came back and wanted to head back to the restaurant to view the stunning sunset, but on seeing me with my 2 year old in the stroller, she literally turned to her colleagues and went in a very animated way…. “NOOOO POR FAVOR!!!!!!” This left such a bad taste in my mouth, I just headed back to my room ! Everybody! I mean everybody in the hotel was very nice, but what the lady did left the stay sour and I was actually looking forward to check out of my expensive stay very soon! I really hope the management looks into such behaviour...
Read moreMy husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary and it will always be a funny but sour memory for us. The service was fine but the food was terrible. You’re basically paying for the view. The menu should’ve been a red flag because there weren’t many authentic Andalusian dishes to begin with. It was very white-washed, outdated and catered to Americans which is what the restaurant was filled with. When my plate came out I laughed till I had tears in my eyes. The sturgeon was dry, the sauce left a horrible aftertaste on my tongue (I’m not sure how someone can make sauce taste so bad) and the vegetables that came with it were: one single steamed white mushroom, half a steamed baby zucchini, and one single baby carrot on top. I have a very open mind with food and I usually can’t stand to see it go to waste, but this meal was so bad I left most of it. My husband’s food was at least edible, but he didn’t enjoy it for the money we paid. We eat out a lot and this will forever be one of the worst meals...

I had been out since 0800, taking in the sights, riding buses, walking 20K steps...by 1800 it was time for a glass of wine. I wanted to have a drink somewhere with a view so I took a chance that I could do so here and it is perfect!
The Front Desk staff immediately welcomed me. I asked if I could go outside for just a glass of wine and they said please do! The server inside pointed the way and said to take whatever table I like! As a solo traveler, I am not used to getting my pick of any seat in the house, so this pleased me even more than the friendly service.
The terrace was empty, a breeze was blowing and the misters were cooling me down.
I ordered a glass of wine and it was brought quickly, with the server bringing the bottle and pouring it there for me to see--something I only see in quality places. I was also served a dish of almonds which were extremely fresh!
I wasn't hungry but perhaps tomorrow before I leave I'll pop in one more time and order something...
