"FILLET STEAK IS A SIRLOIN"
Waiter tried to tell us a fillet steak was an entrecote and then tried to tell us the entrecote was fillet steak!!
"This is how we do it Spain" he said lol.
The waiter that had served us up until this point intervened and tried profesionaly to resolve the heated discussion.
My Father had ordered a well done entrecote but the kitchen had obviously messed up the order and done a well done fillet steak.
One of the entrecotes had a big knuckle of fat in it and was a nasty cut of beef.
My Father ate his steak alone, My Mother then received her steak once my Father had finished but had to return it as it was swimming in blood.
My steak arrived once my Mother had finished her steak and was ok, nothing special and my brothers steak was blue, he had ordered medium.
We then waited 20 mins with the "little short waiter" who had tried to tell us fillet was entrecote was walking back and forth giving me nasty looks.
I think the "little short waiter" is the same waiter that tried the same trick with another Customer back in July 2018 Hammy 12 from Yorkshire a Tripadvisor member who posted a similair issue with confusion of what a fillet and what a sirloin *entrecote steak on July 6th 2018 so it was not just us experiencing this.
After 20 mins my Brother said "lets just go" I went up to the man in a cheap looking suit at the podium who appeared to be the Manager and said "we are not waiting any longer please give me the bill"
With a snarl he went up the back of the Bar and printed off the bill whilst having a heated conversation with the waiter.
The bill was €151.67 I placed x3 €50 notes total of €150 on top of the bill and said "Your lucky you are getting €150 you have ruined our evening" and walked out.
This prat then followed me outside shouting "You are British when you are in Spain you drive on the left side" then waiving the bill in my face demanded another €1.67
I said to him "I am not paying anymore if your not happy about it you better call the Police"
He went mental screaming "You wait here, I am calling the Police"
I just walked away, I was furious.
What a horrible night, was supposed to be a special night for our last night in Granada.
Any sensible Manager would have knocked off a round of drinks or done something but not this idiot, he wanted every last penny!
Having now read all of the other reviews it appears to be a "tourist trap"
Must say though that the tall waiter with the beard who had been taking care of us up until the steaks arriving had been fine.
The Manager clearly has anger management issues.

Read moreI ate here twice while in Granada. I came for dinner and then lunch. The food is outstanding and super fresh. Every dish is packed with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s a little more expensive than your average taps bar but it’s definitely worth it. Very modern and the service impeccable Food: For dinner we ordered: the vegetable oriental soup with noodles. This is a creamy curry like based soup with thin vermicelli egg noodles with various mushrooms and zucchini. Absolutely delicious the scallop ceviche and lime. I’m a huge fan of scallops so this dish was amazing to me. It had the zing of lime and savory red onion to balance the flavor. The presentation is also brilliant vegetable wok noodles. My kids loved this dish. For lunch we ordered: the variety of sashimi - everything was so fresh and melted in your mouth. Wow! nilgiri sushi - this was a selection of Wagyu, prawn, salmon, tuna and quail egg. They were all delicious and beautifully presented maki-sushi variety plate - again this was delicious. Salmon, crab, avocado and tuna. BBQ chicken fingers - this was loved by my daughter. Came with homemade BBQ sauce which tasted more like a spicy tomato (very tasty) and mini french fries. The chicken pieces were boneless crumbed and lightly fried. mango and goats cheese salad - was like a dessert. Tasty and fresh mini burgers - 6 sliders made with different meats, Wagyu, ox tail and pork. Scrumptious. chocolate brownie - leave room for the dessert! So good. I've also added photos of the food. Service: Attentive...
Read moreThis place is a unique gem in Granada. Places are have the best locations in the city are usually very blah and mediocre because they can be, as the prime location ensures a constant inflow of one-time tourist visitors who won't be back anyway. But when you find a restaurant that is in an excellent location (in this case, right on the most scenic and vibrant large plaza in the city center) AND that cares about the quality of their food AND whose staff actually take pride in their service and presentation, that is a rarity. And this describes this place. I live in one of the penthouses overlooking this plaza, and when I am home in Granada I often pop in here for dinner because I know they're open late, I know the food will always be good, and I know the staff will always be welcoming. Unlike many places, they don't give you attitude if you come late. They always welcome you enthusiastically whether it's the first hour or last hour. I really appreciate establishments that care enough to offer this level of service, and this is one of them. They to have to have good service or good food and they will still be busy because of their perfect location. But the staff takes a lot of pride in what they do and what they service, and the quality is, therefore,...
