Teteria Baghdad — Restaurant in Granada

I am writing this from another account because I fear for my safety. The manager at this restaurant is legitimately scary. We r a group of 3 women and 1 7yo child.

We went there expecting Iraqi kebab grilled on coal or an electric grill. The menu did not say otherwise and the meat was tough and not cooked like we expected.

We politely asked the manager for a price reduction but he refused and said we were thieves even though we paid the full amount. As we were leaving he tried to slam the door on my aunt. Then he started insulting us as women, attacking our Palestinian background, and threatened my mom saying he would throw hands and cut off her tongue. Another man joined him and made the situation even more scary.

There was a 7 year old child with us. We defended ourselves. I threw a half lemon to protect us after he was threatening. He threw it back at me. My sister threw a lemon too to protect me and shouted don’t hit her. She recorded everything.

No one should be treated like this in a restaurant. The food was disappointing and the manager was aggressive, racist, misogynistic, and threatening. This place is not safe for women...

The food was very disappointing. We came expecting authentic Iraqi kebab grilled on coal or an electric grill, but the meat was very dry, poorly cooked, no taste and not at all what the menu suggested.

What made the experience truly horrifying, however, was the management. The manager was aggressive, insulting, and threatening toward us. After we politely asked about the quality of the food, he accused us of being thieves even though we paid the full bill. He tried to slam the door on my aunt as we left, insulted us as women, mocked our Palestinian background, and even threatened my mom with violence. Another man joined him, which made the situation even more frightening.

There was a 7-year-old child with us who had to witness this. No family should have to go through such treatment. This place is not only disappointing in terms of food, but also dangerous because of the behavior of its management. It is not safe for women...

Service is not good at all, the place is not much clean, the teas are all very sweet and by default they have added sugar to your tea without even asking you about it. If you order snacks or food, it is not freshly made, they go outside and ask another restaurant to makende for you and by that time they bring it inside, it’s very cold and you don’t see the quality (good is not fresh).
