Los Compadres — Restaurant in La Oliva

Two nights ago we had the chance to be in Corralejo and to go for dinner at Los Compadres, a nice restaurant in the center of Corralejo. We tried tapas and main dishes both of fish and meat and everything was great! The place is nice with space outside and some also inside but all followed by one guy only, Yariel, who, despite the busy situation, is always very kind, professional and great in his job, running from one side to another looking after all guests with care. One note also for the great job of the guy working in the kitchen, really kind and supporting the guests' service on site. Highly recommend both for food...

AVOID !!!! The service was The Worst I have ever had in Spain ! they brought food for two of us and only had ne hour later to the other two, without any work of sorry or anything and the food was NOT what we ordered but they keep saying it was. People of the other table were also unhappy about food as they did the same, brought them what they did not order and insist that was it.The waiter almost hit the girl in the street when she was asking about free table! horrible!!! food is very bad quality, not fresh. Decir que soy hostelero y nunca he puesto una reseña pero es que este lugar no podía evitarlo, lamento mucho por los dueños pero me gustaría que sea una crítica constructiva y no destructiva, y le sirva para aprender de una vez a este tipo de establecimientos. Llegar al restaurante y de entrada ya el ambiente del personal y la limpieza del establecimiento le daría un -15, pedir un servicio de pan y que sea congelado que eso no lo discuto por los costes pero que ya parezca chicle y este frío es imperdonable, el alioli y el mojo de hace rato o de días, ya que las puntas del bote estaba ya resecas de estar rato en temperatura y ambiente, cosa que en ese producto es imperdonable y juega con la salud del comensal. PRIMEROS : Lapas: duras no lo siguiente que parecen piedras, para adornar el juego ajo perejil por un tubo, que aún me estoy quitando el sabor y la repetición del ajo. SARDINAS : calidad buena pero sin más. SEGUNDOS : Vueltas de solomillo : lo mismo, calidad bien correcto, pero elaborado pésimamente, ajo y perejil a matarse y guarnición cebolla cruda sin sentido y muy muy aceitoso el plato en sí, eso sin contar los dos pelos del cocinero que también venia con las cebollas que también la tenía, puede ser jugoso pero no seco como la suela del zapato y aceitoso. CALAMARES FRITOS: calidad medio que, y rebozado sin más. Aclarar que puedes tener mal día ya que en esta profesión puede pasar de todo, pero de ahí que la higiene del cocinero que encima me trajo los platos esté devastadora y que el amigo del amigo me esté dando servilletas por que después de mil veces que las pedí el camarero pase de tu culo ya basta, si no quieren trabajar dejarlo para aquellas personas que si aman esta profesión.
