This was one of the best food experiences we have had on our trip to Tenerife. Even though they don’t have the menu in English just yet it is well worth the trouble to google translate. The chef who spoke English personally came to help us with the order as we were one of the first tables to be seated and it was not too busy just yet.
I ordered the duck from the daily menu and it was delicious. The salmon with coconut risotto was well balanced and very tasty as well. The local white wine suggested by the chef paired really well with the dishes we ordered.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy a peaceful evening over a delicious meal, Cachelo is certainly a top pick.
EDIT: we went again and we really liked the ceviche, it was fresh and bursting with flavour. The candied cod I ordered though well prepared was too one dimensional for me...
Read moreAlejandra and Kevin love what they do and you immediately notice it in the quality of service and in the quality of food but also in the atmosphere, since passion is just addictive.
Alejandra gave us an excellent recommendation for a dry white wine as we noticed that many local whites are too sweet for us.
We shared a Salat, ordered 2x a salmon dish for main and three different desserts with two zaporoccos. Kevin, the cook, served the dessert by himself while being proud that we did order a little „dessert buffet“.
In 2 weeks in the island this was the most creative dinner we had in the best atmosphere and with the best service and the best value for money.
We will come back whenever we come to Tenerife again and cannot recommend...

Atmosphere is great, service is amazing, and the chef personally approached us, offered translatation, reccomended a local white wine and gave us an idea on how big the portions are. For the food I could just echo previous reviews, and I probably will after trying it. (Edit: I’ve went for the shrimp salad and the salmon coconut risotto. This chef must have been top 3 on a cooking show or something).
(Edit2: went a second time back 2 back and we were satisfied again, although the portion I had was a little too big. Less noodles, more nuts and veggies for the Pad Thai would work for me
