BAM Karaoke Box Recoletos — Restaurant in Madrid

We went last night for the first time: 2 of us in a room that seats up to 3.

The staff were really nice, the equipment is modern, and the karaoke arrangements of songs are really good. Like any karaoke place (at least from what I learnt from my years in Japan), they won’t have every single song in the system. But they have a really good selection of modern songs, in both Spanish and English, and we never struggled to find songs to sing — the 2-hour session flew by.

We ordered the margarita pack (which is why we spent a bit more money) and the drinks were excellent. You can play around with the mic volume, the lighting and the music volume. It was a really good experience, and we can’t wait...

A group of 11 of us went to Bam for a bachelor party last night and had an amazing time. The place is beautifully decorated and we loved our room. Having a private room was great especially in these times of coronavirus, and it was really fun since we didn't have to wait a long time for our turn to sing, or to sit through songs we don't know, like at a traditional karaoke place. The cocktails were good and the service was speedy. The time flew by, and Bam was really the highlight of our evening. Special thanks to Sergio who was a big help with our reservation....

Bueno, Bueno, Bueno... ¿por dónde empiezo? Fue una de las mejores noches de mi vida. Fui con cuatro amigos más (porque uno que iba a venir estaba indispuesto y en el último momento me canceló el plan), había reservado una de las salas para 6 personas. El sitio está a 4 min caminando de la parada en Metro del Retiro, nos venía genial y está decorado con un ambiente herbáceo sin igual. Las salas tienen muchísima clase y en cuanto cierras la puerta y está la música y los coros a todo volumen, os aseguro que no hay nadie que no se desgañite cantando. Me sorprendió el precio, porque fueron 84 euros por 2 horas de karaoke. Las copas estaban algo caritas pero tenían en ese momento un 20% de descuento, así que nos alegramos un poco. Cantamos de todo lo habido y por haber desde Aitana hasta Eminem pasando por Marroon-5. Tienes un dispositivo que permite sacar fotos y vídeos y se los envía a la persona que haya hecho la reserva, me llegaron al día siguiente y son de buena calidad (que las luces de la sala sean de un color claro mejor, porque si no salen un poco borrosas).
