If there’s an option to rate zero star I would do without hesitation for this restaurant. Please avoid it at all cost. First, the service was the worst I experienced whilst in Madrid. The waitress team was rude and arrogant. There is one girl who’s having her phone hanging at the side of her shoulder and carrying it the whole time. If you want to have your phone all the time just don’t bother to come out to work in hospitality. there is no single smile at their face at all. Also, they couldn’t speak any English at all which makes the food ordering extremely difficult. We even needed to remind them that they forgot about our beer. Second, you can see from the bill, a bottle of water is €6 and a glass of normal beer is €10. We were so shocked at the prices. We stayed at many luxury hotels with greatest service before and the prices are not that crazy. Third, while eating, there are so many birds eating the bread crumbs at the table next to us. Where are we dining? A market? This is the worst expensive I had in Madrid. Tourists, avoid this restaurant.

Want to feel the soul of Spain? Patio de Leones is pure magic! A stunning restaurant that captures the beauty, passion, and flavor of true Spanish culture. 💃 Flamenco vibes everywhere — colorful, lively, and full of energy. đŸ›ïž Absolutely beautiful space — a mix of tradition and elegance that makes every meal feel special. đŸ„˜ Authentic Spanish cuisine — every dish is a tribute to the best of Spain. ✹ The tortilla is a must — creamy, flavorful, and hands down one of the best in Madrid! đŸ’đŸ»â€â™€ïž Warm, vibrant service — you’ll feel like you’re part of the fiesta. đŸ’¶đŸ’¶ Great value for the quality and the full Spanish experience. What to eat? Start with their tortilla de patatas — it’s legendary — and enjoy it with a glass of vermouth or a good tinto de verano for the full effect! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a tourist trap!! Americans stay away!! The waitress completely conned us and lied and charged us 3 times more than what we ordered. The menu (picture attached) does not display a price for a copa of sangria and instead says 9€ for a botella. I asked the waitress how many cups in a botella. She said about 4. I was very surprised with the price. It came and we drank it and then she charged us for a 39€ jarra. I said no I wanted a botella. She lied and said I told you it was a jarra even when I specifically pointed to the botella on the menu. It was obviously a miscommunication and the manager came over to talk to us. She was awful and rude and the waitress kept yelling at me telling me to use my “common sense.” STAY AWAY

Prior to our visit, the name Patio de Leones had eluded our knowledge. However, upon the hotel's gracious recommendation, we embarked on a culinary adventure that proved to be an exquisite delight. From the outset, our interaction with Alessandra, who graciously assisted us in securing a reservation, was marked by a level of attentiveness that bespoke true hospitality. Subsequently, the poised and knowledgeable waitress - we forgot her name - who greeted us at the restaurant ensured our evening unfolded seamlessly, despite the bustling ambiance that enveloped the space.

Guided by her expert guidance, we embarked on a gastronomic journey centered around an array of tantalizing tapas. Each plate that graced our table was a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to showcase the harmonious blend of flavors and textures. Our taste buds were transported to new realms of culinary bliss as we savored each morsel with reverence and appreciation. The culinary prowess displayed at Patio de Leones was nothing short of remarkable, leaving an indelible impression on our palates.

This hidden gem of a restaurant has undoubtedly captured our hearts, prompting a pledge to return in the near future. The sheer elegance and refinement of the establishment, coupled with the genuine passion exhibited by the staff, have rendered it an extraordinary culinary sanctuary. A symphony of flavors, meticulously orchestrated by skilled hands, awaits those fortunate enough to step foot within its hallowed walls. Patio de Leones has transcended mere dining, instead offering an enchanting experience that transcends the boundaries of the ordinary.

In conclusion, we extend our deepest gratitude to Alessandra, our ever-gracious guide, and the entire team at Patio de Leones for an evening of gastronomic splendor. It is with great anticipation that we eagerly await our next visit, as this extraordinary establishment has captured our hearts and ignited an insatiable desire to explore the depths of its culinary...

What a horrible end to a great night. They tried to tell us we drank double what we had (even when we had proof of paying at the bar). We encouraged them to call the police to solve it because the waiters communication was aggressive and honestly the most hostile encounter I’ve had in Spain-when the manager stepped in, even worse with his very rude attitude. They told us the cops were on the way or we could pay what they were trying to charge us and leave it. We said we preferred to wait for police. Long story short, they gave in and we paid what we rightfully drank but not after they tried in every way possible to take advantage of us for not being Spaniards. I’ve lived in Spain for 12 years and this was the absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had. The rude, dramatic bartender on the terrace doesn’t deserve to have a job if that’s how she is going to treat customers-she was a know it all and the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in the service industry. Sad because the ambiance is great and the location is wonderful. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE-especially if you’re a tourist.

*EDIT IN RESPONSE TO RESTAURANT: the date was January 5 and I paid at 12:41 am. I still have the receipt and am confident that it is the correct place as I live in Madrid and was very excited to try your terrace. I posted my review the night of the incident but there was a problem and google reached out to me to edit it and repost-that’s why you’re seeing it now. Horrible treatment. Really really bad-I even called the police. The manager was the worst of all so I doubt there is a solution-I just want people to know so they don’t visit your establishment and receive what...
