They not only filter coffee but also filter people. After I finished the coffee and croissant I ordered, I started reading in my seat. About 20 min later, the owner came to me with a stank face and said I can't stay unless I order more food/ drink with a very impatient and condescending attitude. I understand that if the café had been packed, I should have and I would have spent more money. But more than half of the tables where empty. I've been there 10+ times and got to know the waiters (They know what I'd order before I open my mouth). But I have to say I'll never set foot in this place again. Really, a café that doesn't allow their customers to enjoy their time? There are many cafés around the neighborhood with better coffee, more reasonable price and less...

This was our 1st trip to Madrid & although we'd had breakfasts in hotels we always like to go out & support the local economy & found this absolutely lovely place to have breakfast. We made 4 visits in 4 days! A warm, friendly & professional welcome was received on each visit. Breakfast on 1st, 2nd & 4th days with toast & jam, croissant & jam & then scrambled egg & toast on each occasion along with lovely fresh orange juice from Tizana Fruiteria across the road & great coffee on each visit. On 2nd day we made an afternoon visit when we each had a lovely cortado along with lovely lemon cake for my wife & absolutely delicious cinnamon bun for me. With great selection of cakes, dishes & drinks this establishment is well worth visit & I can't...

Very bad service. I came on a Sunday and opened my laptop to see one email. Immediately I was told to shut it down since no laptop is allowed on weekends (obviously there was no sign of this). I started shutting down my PC but it took 3-4 minutes to do so. During this time I was served & explained to a different member of the stuff that I was waiting for it to shut down before closing the lid. One minute later a 3rd member of the stuff came and started asking me the same thing!! I told her the same thing I told her colleagues but she was not listening... really not what you need on a peaceful Sunday morning :-( Food & specialty coffee ok but nothing extraordinary (granola not fresh / home-made). So not...

⚠️ A DESTACAR: Es petfriendly. 💳 PRECIO MEDIO: 💵💵 🏆 PUNTUACIÓN: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

€5 for the horrible cheesecake. It was so dry and the top was literally jam/jelly from a jar or can. Never again. €3.50 each for hazelnut and vanilla lattes. Taste was good but not worth the cost. Cade con leche was good. €2.50 for it. Tres leche cake was good but a bit much at €4.50. The chubby waitress at the counter with a short high pony had abysmal customer service skills. Borderline rude. The other waitress was much more pleasant. Not wasting my money here again. No wonder they were empty at 2.30 in the afternoon.
