My friend and I ordered the set menu for two (€52.95), which included a fried platter, two main dishes of our choice, and two drinks. First, the fried platter: the shrimp tempura was very disappointing. The batter was way too thick and chewy, it stuck to our teeth and completely overpowered the shrimp. But the most frustrating part was the PHO. It was served without any bean sprouts, just the noodles and broth. When I asked the staff about it, they casually said they weren’t serving bean sprouts due to poor quality caused by the hot weather. Fair enough, but shouldn’t this have been mentioned before we ordered? It's a key component of pho, and the omission felt careless. To top it off, the broth tasted like it was heavily seasoned with MSG, we both felt unwell and dry-mouthed afterwards. Given the high price and the underwhelming food, I definitely won’t be coming back.

I live in San Jose, which has the largest Vietnamese population of any city in the U.S. I am surrounded by Vietnamese food options and have tried quite a few. This banh mi is one of the best I’ve had - Madrid is very lucky to have such a delicious and unique food. The restaurant has the bread specially made specifically for bahn mi, and it was served warm with a crunch exterior and light/fluffy interior. The sandwich was packed with a diversity of fresh ingredients, all of which were assembled with care for our group. The ambience was great, and the shop staff were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. They’ve only been open for two weeks now, and deserve to have triple the business from Madrid residents. Go there and support this wonderful spot!

This location is brand new and definitely worth a stop by if you want a fresh and authentic banh mi Vietnamese sandwich. We live in the Bay Area of California which has the largest Vietnamese population outside of Vietnam, so we know our Vietnamese food. The decorations are fun and inviting. The staff was very friendly. Just easy order at the counter. Several different options. If you need a gluten free option, go with a sticky rice or rice noodle dish. Their signature, though, is the sandwich. They told us that they order the bread specially made for Vietnamese sandwiches. It was crunchy and fresh. Drinks were good too, especially the homemade lemonade. I recommend.

Went there for lunch. Asked the server about the meal deal and placed the order. The food was yummy and they had vegetarian options which is a huge plus.

As my partner went to pay we noticed we were charged for a full meal plus drinks not the meal deal we ordered. The server made every excuse under the sun to charge us more. I will recommend for the food but double check your deal before placing the order.

Edit1-In response to the reply from the owner. The difference in the drinks cost is not €12.20. Also your staff made ridiculous claims like we came in late and the size of the Banh Mi in the deal and what we were served is also different. We were clear about the lunch deal with drink when we placed our order. If you want to charge us more just be honest and say it. We don't want to be lied to and mistakes do happen, it's how you convey it. This was very poorly managed. Edit 2- Thank you for your detailed response. We would like to have known this at the time out orders were placed. That would have resolved any miscommunication. Thank you for the offer of full refund but that is not what we were looking for.We were happy being charged the difference in cost for the drinks and for better communication. When we placed the order I asked what are my options for drinks in the deal the staff handed me the drinks menu. The deal would've cost €15.9 we...

My Viet friend suggested we eat here while we were visiting and according to him, and I agree, this is single handily the best Banh mi we’ve had. We didn’t get to try many items off the menu but what we were served had authentic flavors, and was excellently prepared. It’s obvious the chef is talented because the baguette was immaculate. It crunched and shattered with the most gratifying sound only to be airy and soft to hold together the banh mi. We got to try the fried banana dessert and even my friend who isn’t fond of banana loved it. Again it was warm and crunchy on the outside and soft and delicate on the inside. The banana itself wasn’t sweet but the hot dessert paired with a scoop of cold vanilla Icecream served plenty of sweetness without being too sweet. The meal is worth more than we paid honestly and it’s criminal that we almost didn’t get to experience this place if not for my friend always being excited to try...
