I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Oven, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most deeply disappointing meals I've ever endured. The experience from start to finish was nothing short of disastrous, with both the food and the service falling catastrophically short of even the most basic expectations.

Let me begin with the carbonara, which was a travesty. Instead of the rich, creamy, and flavorful dish it should be, I was served a bland, congealed mess that had no resemblance to what carbonara is supposed to taste like. The tagliatelle fared no better, arriving overcooked and drenched in a sauce that was nothing more than a watery, flavorless disaster. It's baffling how a restaurant can get such fundamental dishes so wrong.

However, as bad as the food was, the service was even worse. The staff seemed utterly indifferent to the needs of the guests, displaying a level of incompetence that is frankly unacceptable in any establishment, let alone one claiming to offer a fine dining experience. Orders were mixed up, requests were ignored, and the overall attitude of the staff was shockingly unprofessional.

I rarely feel compelled to leave reviews, but my experience at Oven was so appalling that I believe it's necessary to warn others. This was not just a bad meal; it was an experience that went beyond mere disappointment and into the realm of absolute frustration. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise anyone who values their time, money, and dining experience to steer well clear of this...

Discriminating!

My friend and I dropped by 2 days ago for some pasta, and it surprisingly turned out to be the worst dining experience in Spain for both of us so far. We entered the restaurant, ain’t no greeting from the staff and when I asked for a table for 2, the staff simply pointed to the table in the darkest corner of the floor by the stair with such cold-hearted face. We sat down and no one came over to hand us the menu or show us how to order. We had to stand up and head to the bar, asking to order food after the staff pointed to the QR code on the table without saying anything else, while I saw her handing out the printed menu for other guests??? And yeah we waited for another 15 minutes as absolutely no one came over to take our order, all staff just walked by our table without any care. After all I had to call a staff to give my order and waited for another 40 minutes for my food. I asked 2 waitresses, twice, before my food finally arrived. And as my friend said the pasta looked like it had been sitting for long before being on the table. I don’t know how long we must have waited if I hadn’t raised my voice twice!

To much of my surprise, you didn’t treat all the customers like that from what I observed. Oh or is it because we are the only Asians in the room that night?! Lemme tell you I’ve been working in FnB industry for nearly 10 years and frankly speaking this is the worst customer service I’ve ever received! The food is rather avarage, 6.5/10, and I’d definitely recommend others...

I wish, I wish with all my heart to have given this restaurant 5 stars. We arrived to celebrate my birthday with a table of 3. The greeter was very nice and quick to have a table prepared for us. The server never came to our table to take our drink order. After 15min of wating, I waived the greeter over to ask who our server was. We were ready to order our food as well as drinks. He shared he would have the waiter come by to help us. Another 10min go by and a female waiter finally arrives. We place our order and go back to waiting. No drinks are broguht over. Our food was very quick to arrive which was great. Brought by a different (male) seriver, I had to tell him our drinks never came. He quickly grabbed them from the bar and brought them too us. The ice was half melted.... they were just sitting at the bar for us and the female waiter just ignored them. The food was fantastic, which is a shame given the poor serive. After finishing our food we wanted to pay and leave. We had enough of being ignored. But guess what? The female waiter still ignored us. She tried her hardest to not look our way. Thankfully, another female waiter came by to get our empty plates and was kind and willing to help with our check. She wasn't our waiter so she took a while which I understand. I had to physically stand and put my jacket on for our original waiter to finally acknowledge me. The place had potential, great setting and lighting, nice music, and wonderful food. But the waiter..
