Amazing dining experience overall. Reservations are strongly encouraged. The interior is very pleasing, with fancy decorations and stairs leading up to a fancy decorated home environment. Our waiter was very nice and had good conversations. All of the drinks we ordered were great, including the Bellini Spritz, Big Mama, Passion Spritz, and wine. The bread and butter/oil were good to start and paired well with the burrata we ordered, which was amazing. Next came the truffle pizza, which was cooked very well and accentuated the earthiness of the mushrooms. The cheese wheel carbonara, or the “carbomama,” was presented well and we all enjoyed the show. However, the quality of the food itself wasn’t anything too spectacular. Finally, this restaurant had a very neat online paying system, where everyone could split the check accordingly. Prices weren’t too bad considering the ambiance and glamour of the place. Would definitely recommend this place for nice Italian in Madrid.

It was a superb experience. The restaurant is extravagant, as we see in the pictures. Every corner is “instagrammable” and lovely. My partner took me to celebrate my 29th birthday and although we had a late reservation time - in order to pass the midnight while there - the staff (with the exception of the first waitress we talked to) was attentive, kind and lovely. We had their superstar carbonara, which was absolutely amazing, and a great ravioli stuffed with pork cheeks. For dessert, their tiramisu is really nice, but the real show-stopper is the cheesecake. Every bite was heaven, we loved it. We only had good things to say about Bel Mondo. Even the price seemed adequate and not overpriced. We ate in many restaurants a couple of euros cheaper per person that didn’t hold a candle to Bel Mondo in Spain. Overall would recommend for their ambience, food and service. A must-go place in Madrid for sure, either for a nice night out, a special date or a photoshoot.

Sad to say but this place was one of the most disappointing experiences i have ever made in a restaurant. Me and my friends are big fans of the big mamma restaurants and have been to several other locations in europe. That is why we have been looking forward to spending our dinner here. Safe to say that this restaurant is more than gorgeous. Every inch is beautifully decorated and worth a picture. We would recommend making a reservation beforehand and coming as soon as possible to save the best spots on the terrace underneath the beautiful bushes and lights. The menu has a big variation and offers of course the iconic big mamma dishes. For the special occasion we decided to order two cocktails and the Carbomamma for two, which is prepared in a cheese wheel right besides you. In addition to that we ordered extra truffel for an additional price per person. This is where everything started going wrong. The server came with two plates on which the pasta combined hardly looked enough for one person… While preparing the pasta in the morning wheel our server dropped almost half of the entire bacon and left us with 3 pieces each. Then he proceeded to give us the tiniest amount of truffle you could barely taste nor see. Mind you we paid more than twenty euros each for that children sized plate of almost cold noodles and 3 pieces of bacon and truffle. After finishing our meal in two bites we left the restaurant still hungry and significantly poorer. The table besides us also ordered the Carbomamma and was also visibly dissappointed. So we definitely do not recommend this dish and would rather choose any pizza over this disappointing pasta.

If you want to feel like you're eating in Italy, stop by here! Everything was so delicious, from the starters to the main course, wine, dessert and coffee. You must experience this experience. It was Eduardo (I hope I spelled his name correctly) who made the recommendation to us and he was a very friendly and cheerful gentleman. My husband ate Carbomamma, and I ate ravioloni bicolore upon Eduardo's suggestion. Focaccia rossa and burrata pappa al pomodoro were all terrific. He definitely took our experience to the next level. My husband and I were both very pleased. The tigramisu was the best tigramisu we have ever eaten, it was very fresh and delicious. Although everything we ate and drank was so delicious that we felt like talking about one would be unfair to the other. It is very normal for his score to be this high. Also, the ambience of the place was amazing. If you are in Madrid, you should definitely try it!

What’s fun place! We lucked out with a perfect nice for dining on the very pretty terrace. Such a pretty space. Service was good. I loved that our server was from Italy. There were many tasty sounding options on the menu. We started with the mortadella and the pecorino fondue. I haven’t had pecorino fondue but will again. Delicious salty pecorino with some tomatoes, olive oil, and oregano. Yum! I enjoyed the mortadella with the soft rich focaccia. For entrees the ravioli stuffed with roast beef and pork was so good! Rich and tender and perfect portion. The pizza was good but I was so full from the appetizers (good problem too have). Since we were in Spain I had to try the churro dessert. The cherry compote was the star. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Do make a reservation as despite being a big place it fills up. We enjoyed a fun and tasty dinner at Bel Mondo.

Fancy Italian restaurant with beautiful decoration, different salons and ok to have dinner. Located in a central part of Madrid I hardly recommend to book a table in advance otherwise you'll have to make the line and wait a while. You spend 30-40€per person if you order dinner and drinks. Unfortunately my experience was not good because of the service. Our waiter was not gentle at all, kind of rude, and rushed us all the time appointing that we must leave the table at 10 pm because there was another booking...we were 9 persons celebrating a birthday and when booking the table this 2 hours limit of time wasn't mention. I do not recommend the place since I believe you can have greater experience and also good Italian food in much more restaurants in Madrid.
