Worst life wasting shipping service ever I have not received the items yet so this is just comment for shipping service which is horrible.
To decorate my new home, I ordered things from different vendors like IKEA, Beliani and KARE. The communication for shipping is way better than Kave. I placed orders around the same time and got deliveries already last week.
I placed an order PT13823599 (worth more than 1000 euros) on Aug 7 from Portugal. The package arrived in Lisbon already on 11 Aug but today on 22 Aug they still have not tried to deliver.
The shipment email from Kave says and I quote "The delivery company won't advise you before the delivery slot, and will make two attempts before returning the order to its place of origin."
This has created great difficulty for me to arrange my time. I can see from tracking link that they are already in Lisbon but have not tried to deliver for 10 days and they will not notify you when they expect to deliver.
I guess you are supposed to give up your whole life and work and just stay in home to wait for the delivery that may or may not arrive for who knows how long, so they won't be returned to the vendor.
Also I tried to talk to some agent on Kave website "decorative" chatbox. It's either not working or you can see available agent in the box but they never reply.
Not happy with Kave when it comes to shipping for this time. Will modify the review once I receive products and see their qualities.
Update 1 After talking to Kave, finally the shipping company MRW called me today on 24th at 10:32am saying that they would deliver within one hour around 11:30 hoping I would be home. So I rushed home from office and from an important business meeting and of course no one showed up. At 12:00 I called them. We were on holidays there over Easter and wanted to see the Blok sofa for real before ordering so took the opportunity. Macarena in the store was very helpful. We explained our hesitance ordering online (for delivery to Ireland, we had read some bad reviews which seemed to relate mostly to delivery problems). We had been looking at the Blok sofa for some time. I found the local store (mainly Macerena) really helpful answering my queries before we finally placed the order (from Ireland). It was a lot of money to spend. The sofa arrived just over 4 weeks later and the delivery company (Dascher) confirmed the delivery date a few days before. They actually deferred the date by 1 day as I was not going to be home. It arrived in quite large boxes - the delivery man had to leave them outside the house, they do not bring them in. Anyway, I was able to move all the boxes in myself (my partner was pregnant so could not help). It took me a while to figure out the assembly but probably took me an hour or so to put it together. A You-Tube video would have been helpful. Anyway, it all arrived fine, no damage etc. and we absolutely love it. We went for the green cord fabric and some pillows. It is so comfortable and soft. We are very happy with it, it has exceeded our expectations and looks so nice in the room. We are thinking of buying the foot stool and another pillow now, and will order via the store in Madrid instead of the Kave website. Read moreWe placed an order for a Sofa online at KAVE HOME on 31st May 2023, which was delivered incomplete and damaged yesterday, 13th June 2023.
On the day of delivery (i.e. yesterday), the delivery company contacted us to inform us that one of the sofa pieces had a stain. Despite our uncertainty, we reluctantly agreed to the delivery, since they refused to take it back without delivering it.
When the delivery person arrived, we were shocked to find that two pieces of the sofa were completely uncovered without any packaging. One of those pieces of the sofa is stained. Additionally, the boxes containing the other pieces were torn apart at multiple places, making them unsuitable for reuse in case of a return. To make matters worse, the order was incomplete, as the screws, necessary for assembly of the sofa, were missing from the delivery.
Considering the substantial cost of nearly 2000 Euro, one would expect a better level of service and product quality from KAVE HOME.
Our attempts to file a complaint and report the issue have been met with frustration. The complaint form on KAVE HOME's website fails to load, leaving the page blank. Likewise, our search for their phone number/e-mail address online has proven unfruitful, with the pages turning out blank.
