So you’re looking for bad service, expensive food, AND to get kicked out early by waiters? THIS IS THE PLACE!
We went to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, and we were a party of 9 people. We had a reservation and asked to be seated outside, but once we arrived the waiter did not want to sit us all together because “He could do it, but he didn’t want to.”
We chose to ignore his comment because we were all very excited about the birthday situation, but after that we were served expensive food… which is fine, but we didn’t even ask for it. We had to pay 9 EUROS for a basket of BREAD we didn’t even order! After that, just bad service. Toilets are gross. Waiters will be running around you like headless chickens just yelling and screaming at each other without paying any attention to you.
we were finishing up drinks and the waiter came over and pushed the bill on us. Saying that we needed to pay because other people needed out table.
There was no one else there waiting, and we had a 300 euro bill… so we were being rushed out as if we had just consumed a glass of water and were taking up all the space.
We paid our bill, and we were compliant to leave. But after that we were chased by the waiters, LOUDLY SCREAMING “THERES MONEY MISSING, you didn’t pay all of it!” WHICH WE DID.
So we counted all of the drinks and food orders, totally embarrassed by the waiter, and he acknowledged that he was wrong and left without much forgiveness.

Read moreWe only stumbled here because we have a Spanish restaurant also named BULLA in Tampa. We looked at reviews and then figured it would be a good spot.
Not to say everything was bad, but most everything, including the service, was definitely mediocre. The menu did not really describe what all was on all the dishes, so we had some ingredients that we would have done without. The portions were somewhat small for the prices, and the food took a while to get to the table. Keep in mind we are pretty reasonable (I did restaurant work for over 7 yrs), but there was literally only one other table in the place (it was early 8pm, for dinner). We would expect better service. My cocktail was pretty good, so I think their bar is probably where it’s at.
The restaurant itself was very cool, and well decorated. Definitely a place for hanging out and maybe for drinks.
I would say Madrid, and particularly the Bernabeu area, has many many more restaurants to choose from, if you’re looking for proper food...
Read moreLa experiencia de ayer fue lamentable, no tengo palabras para describir el mal trato recibido por parte del personal de Bulla. Fui con una amiga a tomar un té y un zumo de tomate a las 8 de la tarde, y tuvimos un comportamiento correcto y educado en todo momento. Quizás pecamos de pedir unas patatas adicionales, que el personal pareció considerar como una clase de insulto. Consideraron más oportuno traernos el datáfono y la cuenta en vez de las patatas (yo aún no había terminado mi poleo menta). ¡Pero, vaya la voluntad de monetizar por delante del respeto al cliente o consumidor, si señor!
Nos tacharon de no estar consumiendo (repito que aún no había terminado el té), y nos invitaron a irnos de la peor de las maneras, a pesar de trasladarles que no era nuestra intención irnos todavía. A continuación nos dijeron que nos tendrían que trasladar a la barra puesto que la mesa había sido recientemente reservada, a lo cual respondimos que en ningún momento se nos comunicó (previamente a sentarnos) que la mesa estuviese reservada o tuviera que ser liberada a una determinada hora. Yo estaba a cuadros, no quisimos discutir, pedi una hoja de reclamaciones y nos fuimos con muy mal sabor de boca. No suelo ser muy dada a poner reviews, y menos con connotaciones negativas porque soy consciente del daño que esto puede provocar en un negocio. Pero después de meditarlo mucho, creo que el trato al cliente está por encima de todo SIEMPRE y que esto no debe quedar desapercibido. Considero que la adecuada selección de personal en negocios como este (que son de cara al público) es primordial de cara a que el negocio esté capacitado a dar una atención al consumidor digna, adecuada y acorde con las expectativas de este. Si se me hubiera avisado de que les suponía un problema el tipo de consumo que íbamos a incurrir, el tiempo que íbamos a consumir, etc, no habría dudado en irme a cualquier otro bar de la zona. Pues hubiera visto que no se alineaba con mis expectativas, necesidades o preferencias del momento.
Como cliente, me siento insultada y considero que bajo ningún concepto o situación se puede tratar jamás así a un cliente. Hoy mismo haré llegar mi hoja de reclamación a la oficina Municipal de información al consumidor.
