I recently visited a café in Madrid, and my experience was quite pleasant. Upon entering, the atmosphere was cozy, with modern decor that had a rustic touch, making the place feel special. The soft background music and warm lighting created a perfect environment to enjoy a good meal.
I decided to order the avocado sandwich, which I had heard was one of the standout dishes. The presentation was excellent; the sandwich was well-toasted, with a generous amount of fresh avocado smoothly sliding over the bread. Each bite was full of flavor and creaminess, and you could really tell that fresh, quality ingredients were used. The combination of the avocado with a touch of salt added an extra layer of taste.
I paired my meal with a cappuccino. The milk foam was perfectly textured, and the coffee had a rich, balanced flavor. Every sip was a delight, and it was clear that the barista had a lot of experience in their craft. I love enjoying a good coffee, and this drink exceeded my expectations.
For dessert, I opted for a delicious cream cake. The texture was soft and light, and the sweetness of the cream was just right, not overly sweet. Each bite was an absolute pleasure, and it was a perfect ending to such a lovely meal.
I gave the café 4 stars. While the experience was very good, I believe there is always room for improvement, especially regarding the speed of service during peak hours. However, overall, this café in Madrid is definitely a place worth visiting. The avocado sandwich, cappuccino, and cream cake came together to create a memorable culinary experience. I will certainly return to enjoy this...
Read moreIn few words | Good not overpriced coffee. Excellent staff, very kind and cheerful. Place has an elegant fancy look. Price average.
It is a café - bakery. You can order your bread and pastries or your coffee to go ot to stay. In a very good location with a very cozy place.
Sometimes depending on the time of the day they are really busy and you have to wait a bit, but it's never a long queue like in other hipster coffee places.
Kudos to Ana, the best waitress there (even if all of them are lovely :)
I go quite often and I'm very picky so trust me if I tell you this is a great place for...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped here for an evening desert before going back to our hotel up the street. The Tarta de Manzana (apple) and Zanahoria Torta (carrot cake) were great. Sebastian (the owner I think) and my wife laughed at my pronunciation of “Zanahoria,” but I had to try it.
The slices were presented on plates with whip cream. They tasted as good as they looked.
Sebastian was very kind and welcoming. They had breakfast pastries and empanadas, so I’m sure early mornings would be just as good. Too bad we just found this place or we would have...
