1🌟 For excellent food quality and freshness! 2🌟 Decent price fitting for the portion size 3🌟 interactive and attentive staff. Diligent and little waiting time. 4🌟 For place atmosphere and decor. Classical, traditional and exhibition of the place history and the area history in pictures, was an interesting way to pass waiting time. Minus 1 🌟 as the toilet area need clean up, light was flickering. Upstairs at the bar to first floor area there were a mess of old uneaten snacks/chips from cleared tables and a cart with the dirty dishes that at first walk in blocked the toilet entrance. A update of the toilet area, and focus on not showing the mess/cleaning up the dirty dishes from the front area would be giving the place a higher feeling of professionalism. 😊

Be careful of this place’s tourist trap. Stop by this place out of randomness- to sat down for a bit and get a drink. And saw the Madrid style tripes I couldn’t help but to order it to see if this Madrid style tripe would be any good. It is pretty good for the most part as it’s tender. I would have rate the place if not because of the tourist bread trap. They brought two pieces of bread out which any reasonable person would think it’s offered to accompany the brothy tripe dish. But nope, they changed two bucks. For me it’s not the amount of money. It’s the principle. If it’s something cost extra, they shouldn’t have put it on the table without asking whether I wanted it or not.

We got here after a long morning and mostly because we didn’t find the place our tour guide recommended. There was a hair in the tapas we were offered with our drinks. The food we ordered was good. Service was not. We mentioned the hair. They took the plate back and brought another. I bet they just fished the hair out? We ordered three dishes and only got two. We were told they were out of the pickled anchovies. The table next to us got them and they ordered after we did. I guess we shouldn’t complain about the hair in the free tapas?

This was the worst Paella we had in our entire trip, and we tried a few different places! The seafood Paella tasted like they had not washed the dirty seafood first, they were just cooking the paella on dirty seafood water. We literally ate 2 bites and stopped eating. They didn’t bother asking how it was -they already knew it was terrible. We wanted water -they said we had to order a drink, no water. So we ordered tea. When we asked for more hot water for our tea, they gave us more hot water, did not change the teabag, and charged us for additional teas. They also charge a 1€ for butter. Normally I wouldn’t mind paying extra for things, but between the food tasting like sewage and overcharging us for teas, this was, by far, the worst restaurant we visited on our 3 week Spain tour. There’s so many great places nearby (look for 4.4+ star ratings and 1000+ reviews on google!) that you shouldn’t take a...

Discriminatory, racist, anti-tourist place. We unfortunately visited this establishment on recommendation by the free walking tour guide to try the liquor in the ice cream cone cups. There were two ladies from our tour group in front of us (European) who ordered 4 shots. We didn't see a price so asked the ladies how much it was - they said 7.60 euro. We also ordered 4 and had a 10 euro bill out, giving it to them expecting change. The man told us it's 12 euros. Not wanting to argue or make a fuss, we paid. The 2 ladies in front of us took their shots out to sit and drink. We were going to do the same because it was very cramp inside. Another man told us to stop, that we had to finish them inside.

I don't know why anybody would recommend a place that discriminates against any customers. Why give them more business? I will write this to the tour provider as well.

Also, the shots weren't...
