This place is phenomenal, for my €urodollars the finest Sushi place in Madrid.

Food and service are great though to be fair the last time I went the poor staff could definitely use a hand but they are extremely patient and accommodating. As others have mentioned and I can attest, the Spicy Beef is king but to be honest everything I have tried on the menu is made with the freshest of quality ingredients.

Not only is the food the proverbial bees knees but likewise the cocktails are spanktastic as well; the pisco sours in a couple of flavours are all fluffy goodness as well on the potent potable scale. Furthermore, naturally the place is brimming and filled to the gills with the beautiful people of Chamberí. Note to user; when confronted with a bathtub, be a guitar player and look to your pedals...

Highly recommended for your next Sushi outing...

First I’ll say that we eat a lot and came hungry. We love sushi and after a while restaurant tend to have a lot of the same rolls or variations. This was not the case at all here.

The Bad Boy roll (beef tenderloin, mushrooms avocado, and caramelized onions on top) was so savory and a fun departure from the norm. Plus our non fish eater had a roll they could order. We also had the sexy tuna with its caramelized strawberries and sugar crust that was a fresh take on a tuna roll.

The star for us was the Gyu Katsu Sando. The dijonaise (mustard/mayo slaw) and the perfectly cooked Tenderloin had us weak. Was devoured and we ordered two more.

The staff was very accommodating and for someone with nut allergies having a preprinted allergy menu (also digital QR code) ready with a full breakdown of everything on the menu it made ordering very...

Fuimos con las expectativas altas, y nos decepcionó bastante.

Es cierto que la calidad del producto es indiscutible. Pero las elaboraciones no nos sorprendieron, a excepción del roll “Anticuchero”. El cual, estaba delicioso.

También probamos el “Bad Boy”. Pero era muy plano en sabor. Además, pensábamos que el solomillo salteado iba a venir caliente, y no fue así. En cuanto a las setas, pasaron totalmente desapercibidas.

Los “Nigiris de Atún con Foie” y “Salmón Aburi” no estuvieron mal. Pero llegaron prácticamente fríos a la mesa. No sabemos si es que los sirven así, o tuvieron algún problema de servicio.

Y por último, pedimos el “Monster Steak”. El cual, no se puede negar que está rico. Porque la carne está tierna y sabrosa. Pero que personalmente, no nos pareció un imprescindible.

Mencionar también, que el personal estuvo correcto en el trato, pero muy deficiente en el servicio.

1º. Empezaron sirviendo los rolls. Y sin apenas haber probado dos piezas de los mismos, nos sorprendieron con los nigiris. Llenando completamente la mesa, y provocando que comiéramos todo con rapidez. Así que si ya vinieron los platos prácticamente fríos, terminaron por enfriarse del todo.

2º. Finalizados los platos anteriores. Tardaron 17 minutos en servirnos el Monster Steak. Y se dieron cuenta, porque el camarero que nos atendió, aparte de querer retirarnos las cosas de la mesa, vino a preguntarnos si queríamos postre. Por lo que le tuvimos que recordarle que faltaba un plato por servir. Lo cual, nos desconcertó bastante. Porque al principio nos avasallan, y luego resuelta que se demoran al final. ¡Un desastre!

En definitivas. No dudamos del trabajo y potencial del lugar. Pero por nuestra experiencia, podemos decir que no es el mejor restaurante de sushi en Madrid (como he leído en algunos comentarios), ni tampoco es un sitio que recomendaría a algún familiar o amigo.

Hay mucha competencia en la capital. Y a esos precios, o incluso más económicos, pueden encontrar mejores restaurantes...
