I've been living in Malasaña for almost 6 years and take pride in being a part of this vibrant barrio, knowing the people and the places quite well as I'm a very outgoing person.
Freeway is really one of my favorite bars of all time, not just in Malasaña but in general as it's just such a good vibe and mix of bar upstairs and dance floor downstairs.
This is the type of place that I normally wouldn't leave a review for because it'd obviously be 5 stars and I'd prefer to keep the hype down and try to not let it go too much to the tourists.

The main place is still reminiscent of a pub, the basement is more of a club- discotheque.
On the plus side: the waitresses are rather...
