It was the first time and the last time I’ve eaten here
It all began when my girlfriend and me arrived at the restaurant. We were seated next to the toilets and someone thought it was a fine idea to keep the doors open on a windy, 13 degrees night. The restaurant was pretty drafty and noticing the other people with their jackets on, I wasn’t the only one who was bothered by it.
Next up the ordering, my Spanish is not up to date so most of the time I have to do it in English. I understand this is a restaurant outside the city center and outside the area where you can find the most tourists, so almost no one spoke English. Not that it is normally a problem. Ordering went fine by the way. My girlfriend got the chicken BBQ pizza and I went for the truffle and eggs pizza, a fine looking pizza advertised throughout the city.
A few moments later the pizza’s arrived. My girlfriends pizza looked fine, but on mine there were 2 raw eggs. I don’t know for sure, but it looked like when the pizza was ready they noticed they forgot to put on the eggs, so the just dropped 2 raw eggs on it and hoped for the best. I returned the pizza so they can reheat the pizza to cook the eggs. First thing what they said was that the outer crust will burn if they do that, like it’s my problem now. Few minutes later my pizza returned with still 2 wobbly eggs on it, so it went back to the kitchen. Meanwhile my girlfriend finished her pizza while I was still waiting for mine. Third time is a charm, so when the pizza came out of the kitchen, the waitress placed my plate with ninja-like skills in front of me and walked away before I could point on the 2 still raw eggs. I’ve had enough, it was already 21.30 and I was hungry and sick and tired of waiting. I shoved the 2 raw eggs on my girlfriends empty plate and began eating. No one even noticed and apologised or noticed the raw eggs on the empty plates. The strange part was that I saw cooked egg yolk underneath the raw eggs, like they cooked the first eggs and then added 2 raw eggs, like you should eat them raw. Dessert was fine
When the bill came I saw that I had to pay for the entire pizza and everything we’ve eaten. When I complained to the manager (I thought he was the manager, he was busy in the kitchen), he acted pretty grumpy but compensated me on the bill. Pretty off setting I had to ask for it myself.
If you look at my other reviews, I almost never have a bad review about any restaurants. Also normally I never write a review after a compensation. But right now I have to kill some time because of the raging diarrhea in the middle of the night. Big chance it was because of the 2 wobbly raw eggs. First...

Read moreWe ate for the first time in this chain, because they had the 2x1 promotion. We thought it would be a nice way to try it. We were very disappointed, the pizza is premade and they just warm it up. The mozzarella cheese was not even melted. It made us feel a bit bad after. Even though it looks really good on paper, we could buy a frozen pizza in the super market and it would taste the same, and would not have the 13€ price tag. We will never come back to pay full price for this. Gave it 2 stars just for the promotion. Overall bad experience, there are many authentic and good pizzas around lavapies...
