VIPS — Restaurant in Madrid

I used to be a a frequent customer time ago, but since the new owners take over the overall franchise the prices are higher and the portions smaller. It seem they try regain customer back with some changes in products (like going back to Coke rather than Pepsi) and some marketing smarts. But still the experience is far from what use to be. We have breakfast today and everything was smaller. Less scrambled eggs and smaller pancakes in the American Breakfast, even the syrup was a meager portion when use to be the full bottle for you to serve yourself. Egg Benedict were clearly fried eggs when use to be a better imitation to a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce was small amount on the top, when use to be fully covering the portions ... An all prices are higher, much higher that use to be for breakfast that included the full menu in the past, and now coffee, juice, ... is prices apart. A pity but still no way they will regain me...

I am writing this review to especially praise Isa – she made sure we had an extremely satisfying dining experience when she served us breakfast! She was friendly, her English was outstanding, she was smiley, helpful, welcoming, approachable, and understanding! I would go as far as to say, that she was by far the best member of the wait staff from what we experienced in Madrid across many different dining places in March 2023. At no point did we feel rushed, which is a rarity! Thank you Isa, you are a shining star and a bright example for all your colleagues to follow! Best...

Vips ha bajado muchísimo su calidad en todos los aspectos, tanto en comida como personal.

He pedido las costillas y han sido las peores costillas que me he comido en mi vida. Sosas y con una salsa de lo último, patatas mediocres.

Mi pareja ha pedido el Bow de salmon, que si estaba buenísimo y para compartir el tartar de salmon que también estaba bueno.

Nos traen dos botellas de agua con dos vasos de agua SUCIOS. He pedido a la chica que se los llevara.

El café fatal, lo peor de todo el café. He pedido un café que ha tardado una eternidad en llegar aunque pedí que llegara primero que la comida, llegaron casi al tiempo, en barra la manager parece que jugando con los empleados de cocina.

Cuando la misma manager hace el café. Un café de pena, se nota que no limpio bien el portillo, recalento una leche que ya estaba caliente. Quedó horrible. Vamos que vips va de mal en peor.

No controlan en nada la calidad.

El 40% de las mesas llenas de platos sucios, y con la cantidad de personal que tienen se mueven 2 solamente a hacer cosas.

Esto es vergonzoso, arruinan la experiencia. Pero es que últimamente vips todos a los que he ido en los últimos meses igual de mal.

Y para cerrar Anoche hemos pedido a domicilio y nos han llegado dos club house que no eran nuestros y que lastimosamente tocó tirarlos porque no los pedimos no los consumimos. Un...
